I've been here multiple times. I've always had good service. The food is LEGIT. Everything from the chips and salsa to the fajitas. And their breakfast tacos are inexpensive AND the bomb!

The food is bland. I’ve tasted better, Mexican food. Also, the whole time I was never asked if I needed anything by the waitress . When i told her I needed extra lemon for my tea. She said oh I’m sorry we’re real busy!!! that’s not an excuse. There was two waitresses and they’re just not moving fast enough. You got to hustle when you’re a waitress and it’s busy you got to hustle and don’t move like a turtle. Sorry no tip. They need to move faster. Not comimg back. They also need to speak better English. Would not recommend. Tex mex no flavor.

Where Flavor Meets Reality, and Tex Mex Gets left in the dust! Nestled by HEB in Alamo Ranch, this Mexican haven defies the laws of space – it may be small, but it's serving big flavors that make you forget about square footage. Waiting for a table? Nah, more like instant gratification without the dangers of being hangry. The food waltzes out of the kitchen with the speed of a superhero – fast, efficient, and leaving you wondering if it has a cape. And the flavors? Oh, they're so good, they could start a flavor band. Now, some misguided souls claim Tex Mex vibes, but let's set the record straight – Taqueria La Terraza is on a whole other flavor wavelength. In the world of restaurants, it's a tough gig. Some want more flavor, others want less – it's like a taste bud tug-of-war. But here's the deal: you can't please everyone, and the folks at La Terraza know it. So, take my word for it – venture into this flavor rollercoaster, embrace the cozy chaos, and let your taste buds revel in the mandatory pleasure of Taqueria La Terraza! My opinion is solely based on the Carne Asada Buritto with the green sauce.

Food is so good! The barbacoa is not greasy and the menudo was on point. The waitress are substandard, very disappointing. If you can look past the rudeness and impatient waitresses, you will enjoy this restaurant.

These are the best tacos in Alamo Ranch, although it is a bit pricey. However, the food is delicious and the service is usually quick.

For me the Pastor and the pozole are on point! Haven't had much else but the food is great and the service is excellent!

It's OK, nothing great, typical white Mexican food, no flavor, bit bland. Very small area for the amount of people they had, you end up sitting very close to other people. Waitress had leggings on that seemed a bit inappropriate for how close she had to stand to us. Won't be going back.

I went with my husband for the first time , wanted to check it out since everyone was giving good reviews on the food, I ordered the chicharron plate and my husband the huevos rancheros plate , the chicharron was cold as well as the potatoes on the plate , the salsa was not good it had the Tex Mex flavor they advertised as authentic Mexican food and I didn’t like it at all , my husbands huevos rancheros were okay but again same salsa and cold food the tortillas are handmade though for that I give them a 10 , the place had 2 tables occupied and one of them left because they didn’t had tartar sauce and didn’t like the service. Now I wondered why they don’t have customers, they lost 4 today . Would not go back and would not recommend!!!

Absolutely enjoyed our lunch today! The restaurant is very clean, the atmosphere is cheerfully decorated, and the food was solidly Tex-Mex. Our burrito Jalisco and puffy tacos were quite delicious. Our server was lovely. Thanks for such a great lunch today!
