...dayum, this place be bussin, NO CAPI don't know what the hell Nam is, but I'm pretty sure it delivered me somewhere close to heavens gates and just dumped me there for about ten minutes. 10/10 would order again. Massuman Curry? Dayum. Panag Curry? Bussin.I live too far to come here often. My life's greatest regret. Right up there next to my first marriage.

An absolute gem in the city! The flavors at Thai Lao are truly unmatched. From the vibrant dishes to the impeccable service, every visit is a delight. Can't wait to return for more culinary adventures! I loved the fresh fried rice. The protein and vegetables were cooked perfectly!!! I could tell it was made to order! Thank you for this wonderful meal and experience ?.

This hole in the wall restaurant is my new favorite Thai place. The first time I went I got the red curry which is phenomenal. It is such a wonderful comfort dish. And my boyfriend got the Bangkok fried rice. That was good, but I liked mine better! The second time I went I got pad phet, I wanted to try something new and was not disappointed. It was so delicious everything I’ve eaten here I loved I would recommend this to anyone.Vegetarian options: Any dish there can be prepared with or without meat, or with tofu instead.Parking: It’s in a shopping center with a bunch of other businesses so it is a little difficult to find parking.Wheelchair accessibility: This business is on the first floor with no steps

Glad I decided to try this place out. I got a to go order of crispy noodles and Thai crispy egg rolls rolls. They called and let me know my order was ready earlier than expected. Service and food were great. Definitely going back.

Thai Lao Orchid, conveniently located in a little strip mall right across from the Dominion at 23535 W Hwy IH 10, Suite 1104, is truly a hidden spot in San Antonio. Nestled amidst one of the the city's neighborhoods, this restaurant offers a real blend of Thai, Vietnamese, and even some sushi options.Parking is a breeze with ample spaces available right in front of the restaurant, making it great for a quick lunch or dinner stop. Upon entering, the warmth of the place is evident. A friendly server was quick to greet me from behind the counter, switching between inquiries about dine-in and to-go. We ordered he classics like Tom Yum Soup, Thai Crispy Egg Rolls, Fresh Summer Rolls, and Pad Thai lived up to their reputation. But the standout for the evening was the 'GARLIC LOVER' - a dish not previously on our radar. A delectable stir fry with garlic, onions, and a choice of meat served atop fresh summer vegetables, all generously coated with a flavorsome house sauce. Not only was it a delightful surprise in terms of taste, but its health benefits were the cherry on top.To top it all off, the prices were really reasonable, making the overall experience even more satisfying. While the ambiance isn't opulent, the genuine friendliness and consistently delicious offerings make Thai Lao Orchid a perfect neighborhood cafe. We're eagerly looking forward to our next dine-in experience here. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check out this wonderful spot!

Pad phet is truly wonderful! If you like coconut milk sauce, this is one of the best. Crispy Thai spring rolls were perfect appetizer. Portions are large, and leftovers are even better. Rice must be cooked it coconut as it has a rich nutty flavor.

Service is horrible. They stop selling sushi 3 years ago apparently. But haven't changed their online menu. That's what we originally came for. Food took over 45 minutes to get to our table. Kids ordered pot stickers they finished their food before the adults got ours.

Great Thai food and a quaint little joint for a nice dinner. Enjoyed the chance to try a new dish and the waitstaff was on top of it all, a challenge when you drain your drinks almost before they hit the table!

Place was delicious and spice was just right. My husband thought they had sushi just based off the yelp reviews but turns out they don't have sushi anymore. Overall the girls were super nice there and there are a lot of people and regulars that are going into this place for good reason!!

Little shop located in a strip mall, smelled really yummy when we walked in. Started with the fried dumpling which we 5/5- thin skin, tender and delicious. I also had the Thai basil- while this one had good flavor, it was watery- which was fine also but the beef was chewy and dry. I ended up sopping with the rice and left most of the meat. Other than that, I would come back just for the dumplings. I'd like to try their noodle dishes since the flavor on the Thai Basil was so good!
