Only thing this restaurant nails is the meat. My husband's pork chop was cooked to perfection and my sirloin was cooked just right. However, that's not a peach cobbler..its peach pie. And , the ranch on our side salad was bland. My husband asked for a mountain dew to drink and the server kind of snobby said we don't have that. When we first arrived, they asked if we had reservations...Yet restaurant was empty. Just taken back by that.

Food is good but very pricey and service not so good at times. I would recommend. Old western style I do love.

Saturday was my family and my first visit experience at Barn Door and it was so stellar, that writing this review does not do full justice. From management (Eric) greeting us at the door, all staff making us feel welcome, like family, and most importantly, the food rendering my visiting father speechless. The only unfortunate part is he had to return to Maryland, while the rest of my family, and myself will be forced to return to Barn Door without him.Kid-friendliness: My little girl was very content with the crayons, and coloring page, AND most importantly the Mac&Cheese

The food is consistently very good and the staff is excellent! We especially love their delicious homemade salad dressings and hot rolls.

Me and two others flew to SA on the company jet for business. I told my fellow workers of how great steak is in their future.Long story short it was horrible. Choices on menu gone. Steaks were tough. Must be a new owner cutting costs.Should have gone to Bill Miller's.

A hidden gem !!! The atmosphere is awesome like a mini museum and it can serve as a romantic spot or family gathering spot Great place togther amd reasonable for being a steak place .We've made a point to visit at least once a week as a family and my Son has tried just about every thing on the menu Cabrito tone ribeye etc and their salad and baked potatos are great on point and those hot rolls are the icing on the cake just great all the way around its hard to find a place that has a good atmosphere then to have good customer service and great food all at decent prices . Especially post covid just having to write this makes me want to visit them for dinner today They get my stamp of approval #NinagzFave

Awesome steak and grill restaurant tucked away in a neighborhood. When you get close, you'll easily see the big red barn-like building. Ample parking but can still get full at peak times. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful -- the exception is the male manager. Not sure what his issue was but we arrived right on time for our reservation -- and the place was hardly busy, but he kept us waiting for about 20 minutes for no apparent reason. His manner was brusque and abrasive, and frankly we sensed he was annoyed for some reason and we were the unfortunate recipients. Still overall this is a great place, great food, and other than the manager we were well-treated. The sides, especially the mashed potatoes, are really ample -- next time we go we'll each order different sides that can easily be shared by 2 people.

I had the chicken fried ribeye. This was almost more than my northern mind could comprehend. Everyone was very hospitable, and the food came out fast and perfect.

We had made reservations online ahead of the Easter holiday. Our reservation was promptly attended to. However we had specified special handicap accessible seating. The host disappeared before we could get down the ramp.We had no visual or idea where he had gone. Finally he reappeared and we proceeded to see where he was placing us. It turned out to be a small table towards the other large room just to the side of the grill. However we, as handicapped seniors, were placed between two large tables of very young aged children. We don't understand why restaurants don't recognize that older people don't always enjoy being placed around tables with rambunctious kids yelling and running around their own table. Restaurants should have enough business savvy to realize this and set aside an adult dining zone to accommodate older customers. While smaller places might not have the room larger places DO! While the Barn Door's food with little doubt is one of the best in the city some of the other aspects of their business need some revisions and attention to be added to their services.

Visited the Barndoor restaurant for lunch on Easter Sunday. The restaurant was not busy at lunchtime but reservations were recommended. We ordered the Redfish with baked potato and the chicken fried chicken with baked potato gravy on the side. The meal came with a salad and we order a side of cream corn. Light music was playing in the background which was pleasant. The cheese sticks were hot and had a good taste. The salads were plentiful and the rolls were served cold and hard. Redfish was served cold so it must've not been fresh so we returned it and ordered the shrimp. The chicken was at temperature just on the dry side which made the gravy a necessity. The waitress was slow but we just felt she must have had some medical issue. Not the best visit but I guess it was just the nostalgia that had us go back. We'll wait another 5 years for the next visit.

We were seated fast. No wait. Waitress was right there with the menus and taking drink orders. We ordered and the food came out pretty darn fast. Will highly recommend this establishment.
