We have been going here since they opened and as much as I want to write a great review, I just can't. It is a mom & pop place and we used to see either the husband or wife in the restaurant every time we went in, and over time, they appear to be more and more absent from running their restaurant. The food has steadily changed for the worse - although still good, they have lost their consistency. I'm never sure what the picadillo on my taco is going to be like - as I said, it's usually good, just not consistent. Our server didn't get a single thing right today - all minor, but wrong. We ordered tea in to-go cups and she forget the to-go cups - she immediately corrected. My wife ordered a picodillo taco with cheese and I ordered two of the same with no cheese, but she added (and charged me for) cheese. The restaurant recently expanded and has benefitted from the additional seating, they missed by not completing the renovation. Molding strips are mis-matched, paint is inconsistent - they just didn't finish the job. We will continue to support, I just hope the owners start being more present and the consistency comes back!!

Food is decent and would give that 4 stars because in the past this has been the spot for us to get "to go breakfast tacos" on Sunday morning. This time we decided to eat there for breakfast and brought our 2 year old who still needs a high chair. We asked if they had high chairs or booster seats. The server said "no" with attitude and looked so annoyed we even asked. It is not family friendly. So we ended up at Palapas in Leon Springs.

Okay food and bad customer service. The restaurant was empty yet the waitress took about 5 minutes to walk over to us even though she was sitting at one of the tables. She also did not bother to greet us when we walked in or even acknowledge us. The beans that came with the mini tacos were completely cold like they had been left sitting out for a while. The only thing I liked was their agua de Limón. Definitely would not go back

TLDR: Good food, great service, and quiet ambience Had the barbacoa plate. It was a very hefty serving that came with tortillas. It was good, but did not wow me. The server was very attentive, quick, and kind. It was extremely quiet, which made it nice to eat by myself. I recommend it if you're in the immediate area, but it's not something to travel for. Overall, pretty good

My husband and I had lunch at The Flying Chancla today and we were not disappointed. I had the Mini Tacos Al Pastor which were delicious. I liked that they came with grilled onions on the side. I did substitute Refried Beans instead of Borracho beans as a personal preference. The refried were great for dipping chips in. The chips were also exceptional. My husband had a Al Pastor taco on a flour tortilla. He was also happy with his choice. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying different breakfast dishes. Our waitress did not speak English which was not a problem for us.

Came here after a walk at the trails. We had street tacos, the flying burrito plate asada, and tamale enchilada plate. Family loved it all. It was around 2:30 on Saturday. Not very busy and food came out nice and hot. We will come back if we're in the area.

I met my daughter here for lunch today and we both had the mini tacos (street tacos). The meat was so tender and well flavored; served with delicious borracho beans, grilled onions, cilantro and a grilled jalapeño. We were so impressed ?. They also have very good complimentary chips and salsa. The staff are friendly and accommodating too.

The food was better than I expected. The service could improve a bit. But over all I do recommend this place for a hearty breakfast.

I am always looking for good mom and pop restaurants. The beef enchiladas and pork plates were very good. The flour tortillas and chips were also very good. Congratulations to the staff your doing a great job. Keep up the good quality in the food.
