Their downtown location phone message states that they are hoping to re-open in a new downtown location in January of 2023.

We were looking forward to eating here, but unfortunately, they were closed due to a staffing shortage. We hope that they can find staff soon and reopen.

5 stars because it’s always been the best… We just walked from our hotel for breakfast tacos at our favorite spot to find a sign on the door saying they are temporarily closed due to staffing shortages ?. On our 3 block walk from La Mansion we encountered 3 homeless people, 2 of which were lying on the sidewalk yelling obscenities. So sad for San Antonio, maybe our last trip to downtown.

The location on St. Mary’s is “temporarily “ closed due to staffing issues. Appears to have been closed for a while. So unable to review properly. Disappointed!

This Place needs to open back up! The food quality here is simply out of this world! Some people complain about the service. There's a simple solution to that: order take out. I've never had a problem with take out, food has always been hot and delicious! But i'll stop talking so you can see my pictures and video for yourselves.

Food is good but service and waitstaff attitudes was terrible. Plus first Mexican restaurant where they charge for chips/salsa before the meal. Too many other restaurant options. Sarita's down the street is just as good.

Came in for a late breakfast/lunch. We had the Steak and Cheese Enchiladas Plate. It was hot and tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. FYI all the locals eat here for breakfast and lunch but the wait is well worth it.

Great breakfast place. Have eaten breakfast here multiple times over different trips. Quality has been consistently good.

By all means the BEST PLACE FOR A DELICIOUS MEXICAN MEAL. From the first time we showed up they PROVE to be FRIENDLY and CURIOSITY. Their meals are prepared with great care and perfection,. We showed up they put a ramp so Tim's wife Rita could enter. There might be a little wait, but worth it. We try to go there every Sunday.

Nice and patient staff! I mentioned I just wanted to try their enchilidas, couldn't decided among a few options, and the showed me I could order different types a la care. So I got verde with cheese, and red with beef. Good eats, and that was a lot of food for $6.60 pre-tip.

Es delicious! I had the machacado plate. Homemade tortillas. Enough said. Friendly and attentive service. Very clean.

Skip the overpriced river walk food and hit up this gem. Amazing enchiladas and homemade tortillas. Great little breakfast and lunch spot

Don't go during lunch break you will be waiting a long time to get service. Didn't even get Greeted by the waitress or even told us to wait to get seated we just stood in line and we're clueless to what was going on until we just left after 30 minutes. Our lunch was over and didn't eat that day .
