I just want to meet the person who eat a double burger here. I got the Shack Burger, which is a single patty, cheese, ham and avocado. This patty is huge and flavorful. My onion rings were perfect. Lots of great menu option and staff is friendly.

My family and I came here after my son graduated boot camp. We brought ten people, and all ordered some of us even got specialty drinks. The service was fast and friendly! The food was delicious as well. An overall great experience.

Had a bacon cheeseburger burger the first time I went there. It was delicious. Really great hot dog selection as well. Took my dad to try out the Philly cheese steak and that was delicious as well. They seem to have a really good selection of their sweet stuff. I saw a mangonada someone ordered and that looked good too. Looking forward to going back and trying something new.

Brought a party of 8 to eat. It was 2 pm on a wednesday type of slow. They dont sit or greet. As such. It seems to be first come, first serve, seat yourself (which is fine). They had two tables set up for 8 in the back. Both had couples at them. (2 people seated at an 8-person setup). The rest of the tables were designed for 4, and a few were occupied.I took the only available single person table and merged it next to a 4 person table and then borrowed 2 seats from one of the 8 person setups. No big deal. Next thing- a real nice associate (this one should probably be a manager) came and wanted to take the small table for another use,, but upon analyzing the seating situation, went to consult the "manager". The manager came and basically demanded the table back and was about to get into an argument. Luckily, at the same time, one of the couples was leaving from the 8 person setup.The rest of the staff was excellent. The food was good. But I would recommend to the owner that the "manager" is reprimanded or replaced. Has no clue how to communicate or work through relatively simple situations. I'd give you a name, but the employees don't wear names.Take a look at my guide history, 2 stars is pretty hard to earn from this guide. You almost have to work harder for a low rating. Sad.My recommended solution would have been to leave the guests alone instead of having 2 older people and 3 young children move. My other recommendation is to get rid of your trash table. If it's going to be a drama. And lastly, perhaps seat your guests if you're going to issues.EditAdjusted to 1 star for the owners snarky response.. I'm gonna guess the owner doesn't bring his 80 year old grandparents out for a bite to eat. "Feel careful for and gentle" gtfoh with that. Appreciate a response but don't like being patronized. Wasn't asking for a whole lot there, just basic common sense, and offered a fix.
First time there. We ordered 2 cheese burgers, the works, they were delicious, and the fries too. Next time we go, we will try the Philly cheese steak.I highly recommend this place.

I loved absolutely everything I tried. The burgers were cooked to perfection and they have great ingredients. The variety of deliciousness makes it so hard to choose. I had great sweet potato fries but the onion rings were even better! They also have gluten Free and keto options available for those with dietary restrictions. They have Phillies, burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and all kinds of creative desserts. I would describe this place as a hint of Mexican. I'll be back another day to try everything else.
first time here, my kids and i had got the bistro burger, and regular cheese burgers with sweet potato fries and tots. so tasty and well cooked. after we finished with that we got churros, strawberries and cream, and some italian ice. delicious. service was also very sweet! will be back soon ?

Yes, recommend The Shack. Small burger joint, serving good food. Many offerings on the menu, lots of options on sandwiches, sides, and drinks. Good sized burger, did not need a double. Seasoned and cooked well. Great with bacon and egg on it. Good fries, hot and fresh, even better with chili cheese (beans and all). Tasty mango drink. We were not able to finish the meals served; wife said she’ll ask for a kid’s burger next time. The restaurant is a bit small on the inside, but some tables outside. It’s stark and spartan, but clean and comfortable. Want to go back to try the cheesesteaks or a hot dog. Lots of dog options but not a Chicago version available. Folks there friendly and busy. Good job!
