I am normally a pretty happy customer when I order from here and please let me say I LOVE the food. However I've had to change my order from delivery to pick up THREE times in a row. I look for them on DoorDash but they will NOT get with the times. They have a sign saying hiring delivery drivers. This time was the MOST upsetting since I order my food an hour and 30 minutes before receiving it. I also called to switch it to pick up made it all the way to the store and they sent my order out despite me calling my 12 minutes before hand. When I made it home the food STILL was not that. Just order pick up or dine in.

There is no way to describe how much I love this restaurant!!!! I lived in Maryland for 4 years and the seafood, especially the shrimp, crawfish, and crab boils were epic there and i miss them greatly!!! A friend from Maryland told me of of this place and I 2/: skeptical to say the least!! Finally I was convinced to go only after I made an age agreement: if it's NOT as good, he pays and of it is, the bill is on me! And when I paid for two of their weekend specials which was more expensive than usual, I DID NOT CARE!!! Once I got the bib on and opened my bag, I knew I was in HEAVEN!!!!! My husband is allergic to shellfish so he orders their other food items and LOVES it all, but I can't speak to those. U can get ur seafood as spicy as u want, which is nice because I don't like real spicy food, and most of the time if u go to a crawfish boil the food is SOOOO spicy I'm miserable after 2 bites. U can get mild, medium, or hot. Then u can get whatever seasoning u want: lemon pepper, old bay, or garlic. I get them old and medium. I usually get the crab and shrimp (no head) with the trifecta (all the seasonings) and medium spice level. Now that I have written this critique I am craving my crab and shrimp boil bag RT NOW!!! And they also deliver and it is soooo quick! I'm done writing this now bc I need to order some asap!!!! Enjoy!!

I would say this is the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever been to, but that would be inaccurate - this is the worst restaurant (of any variety) that I've ever been to. I ordered the fried spring rolls and lemon chicken. I asked for fried rice instead of steamed, which means I was up-charged. I had a water, as well. The water cup was tiny, like something you'd be provided with at a dentist's office to gargle before having your teeth cleaned. I had to get up 5 times during my visit to refill my water. Look, I get it, the water is free.... but I paid $17 + $2 (tip, even though technically there isn't even a waitstaff). When I received the fried spring rolls, the outside of them were scorching hot but the inside of them were COLD. I don't mean cold as in warm or not cooked thoroughly, I mean -COLD- like from the freezer cold. I waited for the drop off of my lemon chicken before mentioning the ice cold spring rolls. She apologized and eventually (about 10 minutes later) brought me another couple spring rolls that were once again scorching hot on the outside but lukewarm on the inside. Hey, whatever, fine. So... the lemon chicken and fried rice were so very disappointing. The fried rice was just that, fried rice. There was nothing else mixed in, no peas, no carrots, no egg, none of the things that typically come with fried rice. It was so bland and downright borderline gross. The chicken was a mystery cut. I have no idea what part of the chicken that overcooked slab of carcass came from, but it was both grizzly and overly crispy at the same time. The lemon sauce came in a styrofoam container that probably held more sauce than my water cup. It was runny and tasted like high fructose corn syrup mixed with lemonade powder. I couldn't finish my meal, it was that bad. I just got up and left. I will never ever return and just being inside that dirty restaurant made me feel sad because it was once a Which Wich. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

We like this place but folks need to know something: their online system will take your order, credit card, give you a time to pick up, and you can walk in and there's no record of your order. No food, strangers have your credit card, and you've waited for food that's not coming. This is the day of our lord, February 1, 2022. Hope they can get this fixed cuz we're hungry and have gone elsewhere.

My first experience here, I ordered delivery online. There were a few snags like the screen shrinking and not wanting to show your entire email at once as you entered it, but I got through after a couple tries. I ordered around 7:30pm on a Sunday and almost immediately got a call from the shop saying they were out of Mexican cokes and would a regular coke be okay. Sure! The food arrived very quickly--I should have made a note, I want to say it was about 8:00pm. I pulled up Yelp to start writing a review about 8:35 having stuffed myself to capacity. I ordered: *a lemon chicken with suggested sides of egg roll and pork fried rice (add an extra 8oz of lemon sauce), *an egg drop soup (add green onions), *and the unavailable Mexican Coke (substituted regular 16.9oz bottle). The original full charge is still pending; I did notice they threw in crispy noodles which had been listed on the soup menu but I had not requested. Maybe it was to make up for the Coke swap. It's not like I paid more, they cost the same on the menu. As stated, delivery to my address was prompt (and friendly!) and after their call about no Mexican cokes, my order arrived without error. There were no napkins or flatware but I had requested none. All the food was in a paper bag which was stapled shut, I assume at the restaurant. The food was still hot. Don't count on a lot of meat or egg in your fried rice; I think a bit of pork was stirred in to basic tasty rice. As a side to my lemon chicken I loved it, but if I'd promised Mr R a [specific meat here] fried rice for his entrée he would have given me some side eye. The chicken was not too dry for white meat, had a lovely crispy coat, and the serving was generous as was the lemon sauce--turns out I didn't need the extra for my serving. Still glad I paid for an extra tub, even if it's not house made. Tastes good and it's easy to find a way to use it! The egg soup was next and probably impressed me most. Nice fresh eggy flavor, good balance of egg/broth, tasty crisp green onions. I added the complimentary crispy noodles after a few spoonfuls and yes, it was somehow even better. I ate more of it than I expected after having eaten p-l-e-n-t-y of the chicken/rice. I left the egg roll until last, which may have been a mistake. Might have steamed itself a bit, or maybe after the bright flavors of the lemon sauce, crispy chicken, rice and egg drop it wasn't an even match. I'll gladly try them again but if their version proves to not be my thing, there were several other options as appetizers or as sides to my main and there's no way it would stop me ordering from here in future. So! Reasonable delivery fee and prices, I loved 80% of the foods first try, delivery was smooth. I look forward to trying them again.

Love this place. Clutch restaurant for delivery! Please show your love to these kind people as this establishment grows. Gen Tso's is my current dish of choice!

Best Chinese food if had in San Marcos. Egg rolls were amazing and general Tsos was great as well. I like the area it's in too.

My husband and I have been trying to find a decent Chinese restaurant for a while. Found KAsian Garden and went there for lunch today. The people working there were fine, the food however wasn't so great. The hot and sour soup was incredibly salty as was the garlic chicken. The sesame chicken was okay, not bad, just not good. Won't be going back.

I periodically order online for delivery from this restaurant. The Asian food is probably the best in town. I always get the combination platter, either the pork lo mein or sesame chicken and my husband gets a different dish every time. The portions are big and I always have enough left over for the next day. The prices are reasonable and always on time. One of my favorites in town.

Nice spot. 11 dollars bought a ton of food and it was good. I ate it for lunch and dinner from 1 meal. Definitely will go back when in town.

Visiting for the first time. Food was good, but strange experience. Ordered at the counter and staff was friendly. I ordered shrimp and veggies spicy (which wasn't made spicy after some hype about cooked to order as you like, but I asked for chili oil and fixed it). The vegetables were very fresh and good and the shrimp was deveined and tasty. Hot and sour soup was delish. Avoid the won ton strips as the were super stale. My friend liked her General Tso's. Egg rolls I did not like at all. Very doughy. I would also say bring your own napkins because they are very stingy with napkins and only bring you a few. Super small and super thin little teeny tiny napkins. Overall it was a good experience and I'll look forward to trying it again. I think this is the same restaurant that was across the street from Torchy's and they just moved locations.
