IYKYK! I've been a fan of Dos Gatos since my time at Texas State University *cough 14 years ago cough*. It had been several years since having a chance to return and I was happy to see/ taste that their kolache's were as yummy as I remembered. I tried a new kolache that I hadn't before- (pecan and cream cheese?) DELICIOUS! Pro tip- they sell day old kolaches, in an assorted bag, for half price!

First Kolache. People were very friendly and there were a lot of options. As they were bagging them up I thought "it'd be great if they were warm!"sure enough they were!Great stuff. Like a Hawaiian role.

Great food and great service. Would recommend to anyone in the areaDietary restrictions: I’m lactose intolerant, so my options for savory kolaches were very limited. I was expecting that though, so I don’t mind! I’m also allergic to pecans so I appreciate that the worker made sure to check that my cinnamon roll had chocolate chips and not pecans since they’re kept in the same display case.

Quality service and food. Best breakfast kolaches in town, hands down. They have a variety of options! Small place, but a staple to San Marcos and TX.

Delicious kolaches in the San Marcos area! Super friendly staff! The ambiance was cozy and quaint. Highly recommend this place for soft, fresh, and delicious kolaches.

This Texas expat lives in a barren, kolacheless wasteland now. I stopped here on my way to the airport from a conference not knowing any local places. Spot on. Fire. I nearly wept in the car as I bit into a jalapeño cheese sausage. I should have brought another bag to take more home. I will not make that mistake again.Service is also really good

There is not one menu item that is bad here! Everything is so tasty and the staff is always so friendly. I miss living in San Marcos so much because of this spot alone y'all.

One of the best breakfast spots in town! Polish sausage with sauerkraut and mustard is my favorite kolache here. Definitely a San Marcos landmark.
Omg, sucha cute place with a variety of kolaches to pick. Found out from my son he loves coming here to get kolaches so he introduced us when we were helping with move in.We all had a variety and they were all delicious. My favorite was the nutella. Can't wait to come back when we visit him again.

Uhhhhhhh, yum! Sadly, we didn't get here early enough for some of the kolaches. The raspberry one was delish though. Exactly as I was taught to make them. I am not a fan of the ham and cheese klobasnek they serve though my husband and son loved them. We will return cause homemade ones are a pain and these taste pretty close!

Best bakery in town! My kids love picking up a kolache or cinnamon rolls for breakfast and the staff is incredibly friendly. We are here all the time!

My husband and I were just passing through and decided to stop. We had low expectations. We normally go to the Czech backery in West TX.Driving back home, we were presently surprised. The cinnamon rolls were absolutely phenomenal, and better than our home town bakery. We also got the Jalp. Cheese sausage kolache. Normally I'm not a bug fan because most places use hot dogs and call it a kolavhe. Dos Gatos used real sausage and it was amazing.10/10 recommend

Horrible customer service and our food was cold. Drove 30 minutes out of our way on our trip just to visit and was very disappointed
