Everyone liked their bowl, even our 2yo was digging in, literally!Flavorful and filling, nobody could finish. I just pulled mine from the fridge and it's still amazing!I really liked the passion fruit and tajin Aguas Fresca. The girls got creative at the end and mixed them all. Creative and yummy ?

I've only eaten here twice. First time, I got El Hippie and loved it. Got the Vegan today. The avocado scoop on top had bad bruise spots and overall the bowl was just bland. That's a deal breaker for me.Wife loves it and ordered a bowl to bring home. Go figure.

Fresco is a "me-too" bowl / healthy eating entry and a one location wonder in San Marcos.There are eight menu items that are offered as suggestions but you can also build your own bowl with limitations on ingredient categories.I went with the Cubano which turned out to be very tasty. The particular blend of sweet and sour worked out really well and the shredded pork was exactly that. Instead of traditional soft drinks they have their own fountain drinks as well as other bottled beverages.There are so many places in San Marcos to eat but not many to eat healthy. After all it's a college crowd that's eat and run. It would be a whole lot better if you could more easily find nutritional information on the prepared bowls. That is sorely lacking and a staple of their competition. Of course the competition hasn't made their way to San Marcos yet.Recommended.

I've been ordering from here religiously since they opened, today was my real 1st disappointment. The dressing was so watery it changed the flavor a bit. I added my own dressing I had to go back out and purchase. I live 7 mins out of city limits...it's a hassle. Word to the wise you may want to just add and pay for their extra dressing to ensure you have what's needed. I ordered the Bobcat bowl, which is usually my fave.
