This place is ridiculous. I placed an order online at 9am to be be picked up at 1:45 same day. The store suppossedly opens @10. Sent someone to pick up the cookie cake and the store wasn't even open. I received no call or email to say the order could not be made. I finally spoke to someone around 3pm and was told they were having issues at the store but could have order ready in 40 minutes. Had to call back which i did but got no answer and left a message instructing them to cancel and refund me. Here i am 2 days later with charge still on my acct so called back and sounds like a manager is the only one who can do a reversal. I'm not in town otherwise i would have gone in person to rectify the matter. Do yourself a favor and order from Marble Slab in New Braunfels who got my order out that same day with no issues or any other location. People running this location have no idea what they are doing.

The two cookie cakes I ordered for my twins looked like a child tried to copy the website's photo. In addition to that, my color choices were marked out on the order and different colors were used without calling me... what's worse is that they didn't even look good together. I asked why they changed it & she just said, "I don't know. I didn't do it." $75.00 ?? I hope the cookies at least taste good!

Great customer services, I just always love great American cookies!!! The cookies are always amazing and I have order several cookies cakes from here and it's always been amazing, but not only do they serve great cookies but they do have amazing service. I loved the fact that if they did not have a doozy which is always my favorite cookie they will make you one. I have been to other locations that say we can't and I always respect that, but here they will make it for you. The prices are always great I know they have gone up on their cookie cakes but I think at this time everything is going up. Go and check out great American cookie and try a doozy it's amazing in any cookie

had to wait about 5-10 minutes for them to make pepperoni bites (which is perfectly fine) but the worker was straight up just eating the bites as he went with his gloves on and then continued making the food without changing gloves ahahaha, literally stuffing his face and licking his gloves and stuff. so gross

Very bad service.I placed an order online, I came to pick it up and I didn't even know the order was made. The employee did not know how to turn on the oven or cancel the order. He tells me that he flies that in 40 minutes, he returned and could not take the cookie out of the mold. I don't know why you leave a girl in charge who doesn't know, train your employees.

I ordered a cookie cake online from the San Marcos location and it turned out perfect! Staff was also super friendly when I came to pick it up. The whole thing was super quick and easy
Staff looked like they just rolled out the bed, no set attire. NO ONE WORE GLOVES ( we're in the midst of a pandemic). barely had any cookies, and had a 20 minute wait for cookies

When it comes to cake, my new husband & I aren't huge cake lovers. However, WE LOVE COOKIE CAKE! So, thanks to the encouragement of my mom & sister, we decided to do a cookie cake wedding cake! The Great American Cookie Co. (Tanger Outlets, San Marcos): I called and pitched the "wedding cake" idea to Christian, the store manager. All pics online were pretty small and I needed a cake for 150 people Christian was excited and said, "we can make that happen." He set-up a meeting with the owner, Ray, and the magic began. My then-fiance & I met with Ray one weekend so we could see some ideas of how to get this cake so big. We were so impressed with the design and the entire team. Saved a ton of money & got the cake of my dreams...20 layers of cookies! *We provided the cake topper, cake stands, and silk flowers.

This has to be THE GROSSEST location I have ever been at. I got some mustard as a topping and as I opened it it had a very thick consistency. Checked the date and it was from 2015. As I told the nice lady working there she said she'd check in the back for more mustard, she couldn't find any. Another blonde lady came and was SO disrespectful when I told her what was going on. Long story short, their restroom is growing green stuff in their sink, food is old, employees are rude.

Ordered a cookie cake 2 days prior to needing it. Showed up at 11:00 am pick up and it’s no where to be found. Manager is out and not answering phone to come up with a solution. Go to another location for sure!
