My husband and I are vacationing for my birthday and we decided to eat at Mamacita's after we looked online for suggestions. I'm so glad we did! The shrimp enchiladas were scrumptious!! The sauce was melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

My husband and I were vacationing for my birthday and we chose Mamacita's for supper. My husband ordered taco salad and I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. The taco salad had a GENEROUS portion of beef fajita meat and the shrimp enchiladas were so scrumptious! Dylan was a great server and made sure we didn't run out of drinks. I loved the atmosphere and the food and it was a special night.

Horrible! Ate there yesterday, the beef fajita meat was nasty. You can tell the meat was boiled and then seared to give it color. Totally tasteless and mushy. That is in no way how you cook fajitas. The ground beef in the enchiladas were not any better. No seasoning whatsoever. This is not what Mexican food taste like. Huge disappointment!

Being a newcomer to San Marcos we were delighted to find Mamacitas among a few other Mexican food restaurants that we will visit again and again. The atmosphere was colorful, clean, staff friendly, food was above average for the area, music pleasant, Margaritas were well balanced and beer was icy cold. What more could we ask?

I'm surprised great service isn't listed among the Facebook choices on this. Our waitress Jordan and our server (oops, forgot her name but she was very nice, too) were first rate. Friendly. funny, good mood people who stayed in touch with us throughout. We'll be back next time we're in town.
The managers were awful. They didn’t handle the situation professionally when I was over charged $134 for my $15 bill.

Mango Margaritas were delicious and the Carnitas plate was good too. The flour tortillas were the best that we bought some to-go. My family had nothing but good things to say about their food. Place was clean, good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Awesome surprise of great Mexican food it only got 3 1/ 2 stars but deserves 5 and I’m a real picky foody free green secret dip that they tell you what’s in it and they make their own fresh free tortillas that are so awesome I filled up on them with that yummy green dip I will definitely eat here if ever in the area again

We were looking for a great Mexican restaurant while and found this one by accident What a pleasant surprise Awesome food and a yummy free green dip they give you with chips(not guacamole) and they make their own tortillas fresh Yummy rice and beans and sour cream sauce on my enchiladas If we are ever in this area again we will eat here again (I'm a foody) they deserve more stars trust me
