Terrific and Authentic Mexican Seafood in the style of Guadalajara and West Coast Mexico. Small stand-alone building with bare furnishings, simple and unassuming, but the flavors and style is a very nice departure from the common Tex-Mex. Prices are $15 to $30 but the quality far outpaces any national chain. We loved the whole fish (Tilapia) dinner, Shrimp Tacos, Tilapia filet in garlic sauce with rice and flour tortillas (option is garlic bread). Horchata is hand made and excellent!

Lack of staff, I waited about an hour for my food, and decided it was better to leave. They served other tables better even when people had arrived much later than me.

Do me a favor and don't come here, the worst place to eat seafood and micheladas, not to mention it seems ridiculous that their specialty is seafood and the food doesn't taste good, the cocktail they sell at "Taqueria Mazatlan" is better. At least not until they work in their season

They snuck the tip on us and didnt tell us, the bill seemed a bit high too, but of course if was the snuck in tip.. you should really let people know that

Everything we ordered was very good, except that the only detail is that they charge the tip on the receipt with the highest percentage.

Food is ok, they snuck in 22% tip on us as i see Now from another reviewer they do this. Be careful to to double tip, we thought that was a bit sketch

Good food, portions not large enough to justify the prices. Slow service even when restaurant is not super busy. And they include grautity at the 22% and won't tell you in advance. So of course I double tipped... Turning my tip into 50% of the bill.. I strongly recommend restaurant to train employees to disclose that little detail.

I come to San Marcos 2 to 3 times a month and like to try different food options. I'm always in the mood for seafood. This place is kind of a hole in the wall but the service is first class as is the food. I believe it's a whole family that runs it and they are doing a great job. I'll be back.

Honestly, it is a place where they put a lot of love into their food, they prepare very good drinks, they have a lot of variety in fresh seafood! They have dishes with a lot of variety and you will fall in love with your eyes and palate, very good food! ⚓️?

They started recently and still have a lot to improve. The prices for the quality are not the best, they are definitely charging more than the food is worth. The drinks are good but much more expensive than other places we usually visit in the area. They do not have enough workers to serve customers so they have to ask several waiters for service and the orders arrive wrong. They need more organization and more competitive prices so they can last in San Marcos

This is one of the best seafood places I've encountered. They have an amazing menu with dishes from different parts of Mexico, with some very YUMMY offerings! For starters, we got the Oysters Mazatlecos, a dozen oysters with all the trimmings, sauces, served in ice with a 2-level display. Just an amazing start. We also ordered the "Chicharrón de Pescado" some delicious fish balls, served with guacamole, lettuce and tortillas.I had the Seafood Soup, which was incredible, my family loved their food as well, the shrimp cocktail jumbo had more oysters and very good!To finish all off, I had the churros and the orange flan at home to-go, that means I'm still eating 4hrs after leaving. The chef came to greet us, a very nice guy from Cancun, formally trained as a chef.Very impressed. We'll always come back! ??

I loved the service, they have very good unique micheladas, I would say, and they serve you with a delicious xamaron consomme. For my part, I ordered a hot molcajete and it was delicious? good music and the only thing missing was a bigger bar to create a better atmosphere but super recommended I give it a 100
