Great experience.Sit down at the sushi bar and converse with Chef Will. Make sure to order Nigiri and enjoy some Kirin on draft. You won't be disappointed. Support your local small business.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly

Gluten free diners be cautious! I informed our waiter that we needed our sushi plate to be gluten free and to leave off any sauces. We ordered a simple sushi plate. It came with sauce on one of the sushi. I kindly sent it back and they replaced the sushi but I could still see the sauce on the plate. I bit into the California roll and it had tempora flakes which have gluten. Our waiter said he told the sushi chef we were gluten free but they made no changes to the plate. I asked for an avocado roll instead. When we asked about the soup our waiter said all the soup had gluten, he offered us a gluten free fried rice. We said that would be great. The rice never came. When we asked our waiter he said the chef didn’t make it bc he didn’t ring it in. At this point we said never mind bc everything else had come out wrong. The fish was very fresh tasting. I’ve never had trouble getting sushi gluten free before at other places.

Always great every time we go. The miso is a perfect starter too, the crawfish is my favorite

No doubt the best sushi in San Marcos area. Incredible. TV’s and good drink options and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
By far some of the best sushi in the central Texas area, on par with heavy hitters like Uchi Austin. Order the specials, sit at the bar. Will is an excellent chef who know how to source and prepare great sushi. You will not regret it! ?

Really disappointed that the new management has let go every single one of the original employees. They were a huge reason the Fri night crowd would always come in, and potentially why the place was empty tonight.
