I like to take the time to leave reviews, but I know that restaurants can be tricky because people have different preferences for food tastes, so I will leave that out. The staff was polite, we had a reservation and was seated immediately, but there was seating for anyone who may of had to wait. I ordered my steak medium rare, and it was cooked to medium rare! Loaded baked potato was served correctly and the toppings weren't spilling out, great job. I could have guessed they were possibly short staffed or had some computer issue, but the staff seemed to work together to overcome it! Bathroom could have used some minor attention, but we all know that could have happened 5 minutes earlier from the last customer, I don't blame the staff. If in the area, I will be happy to go back!

Best food in San Marcos! Definitely get what you pay for. We didn’t know they closed at 9 and stayed 30 min past close and they let us eat in peace 10/10 great service!

Disappointed that they told us they are not sitting in tables anymore when it was supposed to be our turn to get seated, meaning they've let us wait for 30mins before letting us know! This is our supposedly first time to Saltgrass. But they let our people in without reservation.

Certainly OK, especially for a beefy lunch, which happens for me quite rarely.
Had a party come to this restaurant and sat us down, making us wait over an hour just for service, then another two just to get all of our food, drinks, and anything else we decided to get. I would've said it was just the usual weekend craze that happens anywhere you could go on a weekend, but we saw tabels be sat after us and get there entire order done before we even saw our drinks.

First let me say our Server was great! Everything else …not so much. It took a little over an hour to get our meal and it was not busy in there at all. Food was subpar and missing things that were supposed to be included… Server was great and got what we were supposed to have but it was not a good experience.
