Room temp food was tasteless, heavy mayonnaise down potato salad and rice was that of bill Miller's. The pickles were good. Wouldn't call this the best in san marcos tx.

I didn't go into there location one the pit chefs came to my salon and persuaded me to try. When I tell you the juicy brisket melted in my mouth it was unreal. Seasoning was on point don't change it ever. The fat actually melted...I don't eat fat and I ate it. He did tell me that they do a little of out source when it came to some sides but, the potatoes salad was good I can't rank it when I like both with or without mustard. Beans were bussin' no like. Sausage if you do not like a drier texture of sausage maybe find some else but we raised on deer sausage over and I love a drier sausage. Over all I will be eat from there again. Shout to Pedro I see cheffing it up!! Also hurry up and get the Wimberley location open so I can bring some of my friends.

Mediocre at best. The beef brisket was good. Sausage super greasy. Ribs so-so. Mac and cheese - some kind of watery orange stuff called cheese. Out of cole slaw at 5:30. No usual of pickles and onions that all BBQ joints provide. Had to ask for jalapenos and they charged extra. The band playing music was excellent.

Went out to San marcos to the outlet and decided to grab some BBQ. Not being from San Marcos Googled a BBQ place. This place just walking in smelled amazing! Ordered two of the rustler which came with sliced brisket, sausage and two sides and a drink. The food was delicious the sides were delicious. We got potato salad, Spanish rice and their cabbage with sausage it. The food was excellent! Don't miss the chance to stop by and grab something to eat from here. You won't be disappointed!
We had sliced brisket sandwiches, potato salad, rice, pinto beans. Buns were hard, brisket didn’t have much flavor and was dry, beans and rice tasted like cumin with no other seasoning it was over powering just bad, potato salad tasted like mayonnaise. Guy taking orders and calling the food out to the other workers didn’t seem like he wanted to be there and rushed they didn’t get all our food but after telling the cashier they gave us the rest of what we ordered. The cashier was friendly and had great customer service skills though. Like the style of the inside of the place. Mostly just disappointed in the lack of flavor in the food and the over powering cumin.
