I10 closure, 100° and a 2.5 hr drive was 4+. Just wanted some tacos. Submitted an online order but called to see if they’d bring it out as I have my dog in the car.For their “safety” they cannot. Ok. You’d bring it out if I was on the patio? Yes. Fine. I’ll park my car next to the patio and you can bring it out. Yes she says. I’m there much before the 7:15 order time and I wait. And wait. I never see anyone come out to the patio with an order. I leave my car running with my dog inside, Hoping for the best I go in and there is the order sitting on the pickup shelf.I know Torchy’s is doing everything possible to cut labor costs, but for Texas summers, some curbside please? Or at the least follow-through if you say you are going to do something.

Torchy's it's one of my favorite taco places. They have fun and tasty taco combinations with creative names. Their guacamole is also very good. The food, service and atmosphere at the three locations I've tried have been quite good. This particular location has shaded outdoor seating.
Love Torchy’s go once a week however last two orders I’ve paid for my Trailer Park taco to be trashy and neither time has it. So disappointed!I did return today to see if they had improved same problem after my last review so can’t say I’ll return as I would rather drive to San Marcos.

Food was great. I have 3 star because lady at register made it awkward asking for tip. My total was 8.30 I gave her a 10 she asked if I wanted changed? Of course I wanted change. I don’t know why a lot of restaurants make you feel like you have to tip for purchasing food. They don’t get minimum wage. I do to waiters and waitresses. Since they don’t get minimum wage.

This was my first time there and I wasn't disappointed. We had a really stout Bloody Mary that made my toes warm and fuzzy! Next up was the queso, not the best I've had but really good. The queso was worth getting regardless and we'll do it again.We had the Baja Shrimp tacos and the Republican tacos. Both were delicious with the shrimp taco taking the nod here.We'll be back!
