Did the buffet, was there about an hour only had 4 slices due to too many people not enough pizzas .put out things like bacon and mushroom , cream cheese and pepperoni. Was very disappointed.

Ordered two pizzas for dine in. First pizza came out timely and correctly/hot. Second pizza was wrong toppings so employee stated they would remake pizza.Some 30 mins later I inquired on pizza, employee that delivered the first wrong pizza and supposedly had a remaking going was busy taking orders and working front desk and was not keeping track of correction. Another employee got his attention and he went behind in kitchen and came out with the pizza in question. He handed it to me and it was obviously sitting for a good while as it was now room temperature.I asked to see manager however the employee stated they were indeed the manager to which I asked “seriously?” because I was amazed a manager would hand a customer a clearly cold pizza. Additionally he was going from taking orders and handling cash and touching his face/beard to behind the kitchen handling food. His hands were in direct contact with the pizza he delivered cold.In the end the problem pizza was refunded and a hot one was delivered but the overall experience was a disaster and likely will limit any future visits of ours.Clearly Mattengas employees younger workers and the majority of them work and try very hard. However this manager was the opposite, seemingly caring little and very unqualified to make decisions or manage quality at this location.

Missed time deadline for special by 4 minutes and they were firm on the 4 minutes "No Special". Honestly, did not see the cut off time for special in advertisement. Too bad they lost this family customer.EDIT: The manager came over to our table and was gracious about my concern and refunded our check to reflect the difference of special. I have to reconsider my ratings from 2 Stars to 4 Stars. I to apologize to manager for my harsh ratings.

On 4/6/24 we ordered a pizza online at 6:05pm for delivery, I called the restaurant about 7:00 asking where our delivery was and were told our pizza was still sitting there, because they didn’t have enough drivers and would get it to us asap. Cold pizza finally arrived after 7:30. Our receipt showed they credited $32.02 (all but our $5.31 tip to the driver) which was a nice gesture considering what happened. we supposed because delivery was so late. When they asked us for a review we did mention that they offered delivery when they knew they didn’t have drivers. so the next day they charged the full $37.43 back. I’m not sure if an owner did this or a manager or employee but it definitely changed our impression of Mattengas and we’ll be letting friends and family know to avoid a similar problem with them ??

Highly recommend this spot. We ordered breadsticks as our appetizer. My husband ordered the 10 inch pothole pizza, and I got the calzone with mushrooms and artichokes. Everything was awesome. The service was great as well as the food. It wasn't busy at all, so our food came out quickly. We will definitely be back.

I’m picky about pizza. I like napolitana and New York pizza but the two I like are pricey. Mantengas has the curled pepperoni I like, good bread and cheese, isn’t too expensive and is now my favorite weekly regular pizza. It’s really good!!

Just ordered take out from here for the first time and wont ever be going back. I get its a Friday afternoon but getting my food about 20 mins after the estimated pick up from the online invoice is unacceptable. Now the food, the "World Famous Pizza Rolls" as stated in the menu, Let me tell you...I order two orders, totaling with 8 paid $14. They were the equivalent of 8 Little Caesars Crazy Bread sticks, filled with about 2-3 pepperonis each, and each breadstick, I mean, "ROLL" containing 1/3 of a mozzarella string cheese stick. I understand these are considered appetizers, but I've had similar dishes and even pizza hut's "pizza rolls" are more filling and of higher quality.

Honestly, best place around! The food is delicious and I have been there plenty of times and never had a problem, the customer service rocks and Jenny was very polite on the phone and easy to understand. Overall the food is great and everything has a different taste so it fits all kinds of taste buds. Now sometimes it can get busy but they manage quite fast and well, on busy nights the food usually ALL comes out within 20-30 minutes depending on the schedule. But great atmosphere and kid friendly!!!
The pizza crust was very thin and super light. The pizza toppings were super fresh and tasty. We will be going back regularly.

I love this place! I came here last night for the 3 Dollar pizzas with my kids . The food was amazing but it was super packed! Luckily, Amelia, one of the workers helped us out and took good care of all the tables.
