I can't say alot of positive comments about this restaurant. They were completely understaffed , and got everyone's order wrong . I had to on three occasions actually go to the counter to correct our order. Our server was overworked with little to no staff with the amount of customers at the restaurant. The food was just mediocre at best.

The food is good and fairly priced. The service is great, for the most part. I have had two servers be less then cordial. (When they weren’t busy). Other than that it’s a great place to eat and fun for the whole family.

Ordered the fried cod, fries, coleslaw, hush puppies. Cod was fresh and delicious. Fries cripy as were hush puppies. Coleslaw made with (I think) oil and vinegar and celery seeds. Delicious. All drinks served in pitchers. Owner, Bill, came to our table. Great eating experience. Will be back!

Welllll.....we came in, and the first impression was that of local kid's hang out. Even the staff was congregating around the front counter. We sat ourselves and a booming young man with a theatrical expression on his face & a chuckle in his voice says, "My name is Slim, with two m's!"That's pretty much what we got the whole visit. As he took our order, several of the staff sat at the back of the area we were at, joining several friends that had walked in to hang out. They laughed and carried on.We were told all the food was homemade. But it tasted like frozen food. The pot roast with brown gravy, mashed potatoes, and okra were just OK. There were several chunks of dry meat, which we gave to our dog.The Buffalo wings were ordered bone-in, and we got boneless. ??♀️At check out, the charges were incorrect (twice what the menu advertised). The manager adjusted the bill.We left a good tip for Slim.Overall, we will not return, but it beat getting fast food again while on our trip.

Have eaten here for few years, food has been decent, not great/not bad. However since start of year twice have arrived to have store closed early. This time was on a Friday night!. I asked for the manager this time. She was unapologetic and didn't care, never once said I'm sorry. Instead she immediately had attitude and responded "well what do you expect?? My servers only make $2.13 an hour. It's slow so I didn't want them standing around. My priority is my staff" I replied "I can understand it's slow, but it's a Friday night and if it's slow then send all but one server home or since you're the manager, you could serve." She did not like that. I asked when owner comes in cause I'd at least like to talk with him. "He'll be in tomorrow at 930. However I talked with him before closing."I stated that's fine, I just want to make sure the owner understands you've clearly stated customers are not your priority. I added you don't have the doors locked, there's no closed sign, you have hours clearly posted saying till 9pm and it's a Friday night.Her reply "Well we turned the Open sign off." Yes, cause every restaurant has a lighted open sign to look for. ?I've managed a restaurant back in college. I understand being slow, I understand needing to cut employees. However you don't just send every single employee home. (Or if you do, you as manager needs be ready to serve if someone comes in) If for some reason absolutely had to close, I sure wouldn't tell customers you're not my priority!BTW this and Rocket Wings are the same restaurant. Yes, on a Friday night Buffalo wings restaurant couldn't stay open till even 9pm. (This is the closing time)I've eaten here and at their old location for years. This apparently will be the last visit I make.

I just can't give this place any more tries. I have been going since they opened. I have been dozens of times. I will say never order and poultry or seafood plate. Every single time I have it has been raw. Not undercooked, but gooey and watery raw. I continued to go because I did love their burgers. But the last several times the burgers have not been good. The last time I ordered avacado on my burger but there was none. When I said something the waitress lifter my bun and said 'there is is'. Low and behold there was one 1/8" sliver. Two stars because for the most part the service is decent and I do like their fried pickles.

great southern comfort food. Hot, fresh, and filling. I had to unbotton my pants after finishing eating. Staff is nice and attentive. All the servers helped each other with bringing food and refilling our drinks. clean tables and bathrooms.

Very disappointed. We were ready for nice margaritas after being on the road for hours. The reviews for the wings were good. The margaritas are WINE based. The beer was warm and the wings were cold!! I will say the meatloaf grill cheese was warm gooey and good. We were expecting more.

Was on mother's day waitress didn't want to be there but still took very care of us. Understandable though but great food sat near the kitchen the only thing I can say is have employees watch the language while customer's are near by. But nit my first time I've heard a curse word ?...
New to Seguin, I love there is no wait to be seated on Thursday at dinner time. Great quick service ? Great music ? great environment. Delicious food & some leftover to take ?. The burger was definitely Texas size. Wings were hot in temperature and good tasting. Some attention was needed in the restroom, but overall, it was a fantastic visit ? Will Be back!

Hadn't been to Dixie Grill in years; it's old location. My order was taking a very long time. I didn't complain, but did finally ask. The waitress said they were "waiting on the sides." Huh?!!! Cole slaw and loaded mashed potatoes!!! I had I ordered the fish described as 'flaky'. So... when the meal finally arrived, the fish was warm and hard, not flaky. Crunchy? Coleslaw was bland. The shredded cheese on the potatoes was not melted at all. I didn't have time to start this over. The food was safe to eat, but not very enjoyable.

I had the 15-piece sampler, and it was fantastic! I tried the lemon pepper rub, the garlic ranch, and the barbecue. All of them were top notch. The barbecue was slightly sweeter than I personally enjoy, but it was very good. The service was fantastic, the people are very friendly. I was heartened to see tables full of people who were laughing and having a good time. This place has a fantastic atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, and the wings are massive. I will definitely be back! Tyler was a fantastic server, and checked back with me multiple times to make sure everything was going okay.

Wow. Amazing food. Just stopped here to grab a quick bite and didn’t really look into where we were coming. Found the place as a nearby spot to stop on our route back home. Thank the lord baby Jesus we found this gem. The pot roast sandwich was slap yo mama good. So good. And the banana pudding?…. Let me tell you something. I have tasted many many banana puddings in my lifetime and this one is the GOAT. Not even your granny’s nana puddin can compete with this one. Amazing. Definitely coming back every time I drive by.
