Was 'ok' to go there and have a quick dinner. When we arrived there, it made an abandoned impression on us. Only 2 tables were occupied. When we left, we were the only ones left in the restaurant. Most customers just came to pick up their ordered stuff.

This placed was a Mexican restaurant in a strip mall not too long ago.I had heard the burgers were good at Cowboy Palace and it's so true. Amazing burger and fries!! My wife had the steak fingers and they were clearly hand breaded and yummy.Bring an appetite.The seats are very old bench seats from a place that closed and auctioned them off. The salad bar the same. It's a tiny Island salad bar at the front of the room. The ceiling in disrepair and the decor not awesome but it's clean. The place is clean.So yes it's got old stuff in it but that wait staff is nice and the food is great!

So happy I can get lunch for breakfast and it sure was delicious I especially love the chicken fried chicken breast very very delicious to my taste buds and I do love that they have a salad bar I've always loved that from day one

Had the steak finger plate. The worst ever. It was so tough that it was inedible. I asked for something else. The menu said homemade hand breaded chicken strips. That was a lie. I talked to the owner and that was a joke. Frozen from a bag chicken stripes. Never going back.

Simple furnishings... Nothing fancy but they treat you like family... Very caring and above and beyond service..... Great little salad bar too... Sorry I forgot to take photos but it's full of goodies: green leaf lettuce only.... Pickled okra... Olives.... Cranberries.... Croutons.... Broccoli.... Carrots.....tomatoes...cheese...cucumbers.... Spinach.... Red onions.....yellow peppers, marinated cauliflower mixand more .. Their website shows it....it's small but has a lot..... The chicken fried steak was sooooooo crunchy on the outside and perfectly tender cooked on the inside.... I'm a city girl who doesn't eat much country fried food but this is worth going out of the way for....I suggest getting the gravy on the side so it stays crispy..best I've had in Texas......
