We had a client use True Texas BBQ Seguin for their wedding this weekend and both the client and us as the venue had a wonderful experience. Wow, just had to tell someone about this spot! The loaded potato was out of this world – like, seriously good comfort food but with a fancy twist. The staff? Super nice, professional, and on point. The whole place just has a cool atmosphere where you can kick back and really enjoy your meal. If you haven't been, you're missing out. Trust me, go there, get that potato, and thank me later!

Brisket sausage and sides were so good. Didn’t make it to burnt bean so this had to do. I was surprised. Only bad is all the employees eat in the back area and my party if 8 couldn’t sit in back area.

Well I had the Mac and Cheese with chopped brisket and it was the best Mac and cheese I've had so far. It's really cheesy and the brisket was so tender and juicy.
The stars are for the people at the counter and the one man who was also working the kitchen......they were so great.....but the food...oh man, we were disappointed AGAIN that they were out of ribs....we don't plan ahead and mark our calendars.... we just show up and want to place an order..... usually between 4 to 6pm.... and they are always out of ribs.... and on Saturdays sometimes no ribs before 1 or 2pm... sold out they say.....I'm sad to say that it's our last visit..... The cornbread thing we got was a jalapeno cornbread.... It looked over cooked with brown spots... I'm so sorry no photos I totally forgot to take any... not thinking about the survey I'd just get......but it was awful... It was like a soggy corn "sponge cake".......my BFs brisket plate had one piece of lean brisket.. One piece.....I got a two meat plate cuz i wanted one to be ribs so i got sausage instead....but i had two slices of brisket and 1 sliced up sausage....i gave him one and a half of my brisket....i guess i should've checked before leaving.... But shouldn't have to ya know?!?My Mac n cheese side dish was barely warm with clumpy cheese in the middle.... Used to be creamy...Hanging head sad.....sad.....sad..... Used to be a fav spot.....R.I.P. ribs.... Wherever you may be.

Been shopping at HEB in the Houston area for almost 20 years, always my favorite grocery store. Was driving back from San Antonio to Houston on 10-30-2023 and saw a BBQ sign on the freeway. Exited and realized it was inside HEB, never knew this even existed. The BBQ was excellent as well as the staff, great job HEB!

Skip Blacks in Lockhart and City Market in Luling and go to True Texas BBQ in Seguin or New Braunfels. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and great food. If you are a drinker you can get craft beer on tap. Outstanding place, don't be put off because it is in a grocery store.Parking: Large HEB parking lot, plenty of space.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access by automatic doors and space for wheel chairs in the restaurant.

The service could have been better…I found this place coming back from San Antonio and just wanted BBQ…the Brisket Nachos were AWESOME…but the service received from Crassandra was poor to say the least…then I told her the Sweet Tea was empty and was told that she just changed it…but when I returned to it it was still empty…I asked her again and she rolled her eyes and said she just did it…don’t let the poor service keep you from GREAT food though.

I have eaten at this location countless times and had an awesome meal, but today ruined this. I asked for a lean brisket sandwich and it was anything but lean, when I asked for this to be corrected, they took the fat off my brisket reducing it 3 pieces of brisket smaller than the bun. I indicated that was unacceptable and I expected more meat. The manager indicated all the brisket is going to have fat and he couldn't do anything else. I had them refund the sandwich and went to get Chicken Strips.Additionally, my wife indicated her sandwich was not even warm but that the meat was cold.Worst experience ever, great Job True Texas BBQ management!!

The location is inside the HEB. It is a restaurant. Has seating area with lots of tables and some booths. Tried the brisket, which was tender and flavorful. The turkey was also very good. I liked the chopped beef. Collard Greens were good. Excellent corn bread. Tea was good. Water machine has its own nugget ice. Reasonable prices. One order was wrong but they fixed it
