Food here is excellent. Wish they had ribs though. I've been twice and the Brisket and Boneless chicken is great. The waiters were super nice and accommodating. Definitely will be back for a third time. They do Military Discounts ???

We had such high expectations for this restaurant. Sad to say my heart is broken and we will never return. Went for lunch with my coworker and i ordered a the 2 meat plate( brisket and sausage)with potato salad and shiner pinto beans, armadillo eggs as an appetizers and lastly a soda to drink. The server brings out my can soda, that is hot. I asked for a cup with ice, I never saw it. Had to drink my soda hot. Our plates never came out. We waited 40 minutes and had to get up to find my server. I saw our food sitting behind the bar in the window, i let the server know if we didnt get our food, we would have to leave because our lunch hour was almost up. No sense of urgency was given to us. The server handed me my plates over the bar for me to serve myself and my coworker. When i got to my table with my food in my hands i noticed i had no sausage on my plate, my brisket was so dry it was crumbles, i had mac n cheese instead of beans and my potatoe salad tasted like store bought from a tub and our armadillo eggs were frozen jalapeño poppers fried so hard they could crack a tooth. The server finally came out from behind the bar and I advised her of my my missing sausage, Pickles, onions and extra sauce. She just smiled and walked away without saying a word. She walked back with my sausage and tossed the container on the table and walked away with out saying a word. Never got my Pickles, onions or extra sauce.... Needles to say, we both were very unhappy and we will never be back or recommend anyone to waste the lunch time or money here. I did not eat my food, I brought it home so I can give it to my dogs. I don't want to waste my $36 lunch.

This is some good eatin! The menu was small, but that's ok. The brisket was tender, juicy and very flavorful. My family and i all ordered brisket meals - tacos, sandwiches and dinner entrees. Even though the sides weren't my favorite taste, the serving was big. The warm tortilla chips were the best I've had in a long time. I definitely recommend this place. They have a very beautiful bar top and a fun atmosphere. We met Josh, Jewel and other staff members were friendly and helpful. We will be back on a weekend night to enjoy the entertainment. Thank you.

Beans have no flavor. Layout is confusing and menu has no prices. Harmon's bbq is 1000% better. The service was solid but that may have been the only bright spot. Spend your money somewhere else unless you want a patio vibe for drinking

Is everyone knows from reading my Reeves five stars don't fly out easy. I happenstance, waiting on some building materials decided to drop in the blue bonnet for my first visit. I will be back no doubt, want to say that upfront. Place is so neat so clean organized. And let's talk about the staff. Do you know the thing you hear me talk about the most shitty service in the level of service that's going to hell in the past three years. Somehow Bluebonnet managed to avoid that. staff is epic. So friendly and on top of it. Mainly what's point out Josh. He make sure he talks to everyone make sure everyone's happy he goes over and beyond. This place is great. Oh shit I almost forgot to talk about the food. Haha. Brisket on point sausage on point. shiner bock beans. Holy shit they're good. If you don't come here, you're making a mistake you'll get a full dose of that Texas hospitality and food you've been looking for.

Great tater tots, potato salad, chicken sandwich & macaroni & cheese. They were out of pulled pork. No ribs. The chairs were -AWFUL-. I'm apparently just at the height/weight that my legs didn't comfortably sit on the stool-height wrung and barely touching the floor my foot swelled then fell asleep. Awkward

I kind of just ran into this place. Had the brisket and sausage plate with a side of Shiner beans. The beans were out of this world good. They had an awesome beer flavor along with a hint of salsa. The sausage was made in house and a unique flavor. It was good not a whole lot of smoke flavor. The brisket was ok. It was tender but lacked the rich smokey flavor I like in my brisket. It didn't taste bad just not how I like my brisket.

Popped in for a quick lunch with the family. We ordered two of the BBQ plates, with brisket, chicken and sausage. Sides were potato salad, mac and cheese, and tator tots. Brisket was juciy and delicious, the chicken was spot on. Sausage was pretty good too. As for the sides, the tots and potato salad were great. The mac and cheese however was bland. Service was very friendly and the cost was very reasonable. Portions are pretty large and we shared the two plates between us and our kids, and still had plenty of leftovers to take home. Good place to eat and worth the stop!
