Took our grandson there for dinner. He loves the chicken tenders meal. Wife ordered turkey dinner and the gravy was horrible. We asked for a new meal with no gravy and they brought one out with no problem.

First time to try out this place and I'm pleased at how reasonably priced it is here. I had the southern scamble. Very generous portions. I'm not a fan of the sausage as it tasted like pizza sausage instead of a breakfast sausage, the spices in the sausage overpowered the biscuits and gravy. I also would have preferred krispy stringed hashbrowns instead of the thin sliced grilled potatoes. Over all it was good food if you don't mind the different flare. I will be having the bacon on the next trip out. Kristina was the best with service. When a waitress brings a refill before you need one just elevates the service.

What an unpleasant experience I just had ..Received a birthday meal email so we went to visit Black Bear Diner. I wanted something else from the menu so we ordered what we wanted and I asked for the birthday item to go. When we got to the register, the amount being discounted from the check was not the same as the item amount so I asked about it. The woman seemed irritated with my question and made a rude gesture when the transaction timed out and she had to do it again. I again mentioned that it was "interesting" that the discount was not the same as the cost of the dish offered and she just responded, again, seeming irritated, that had always been that way since she worked there. I just walked away, but geez... She really made me feel like I should've been more appreciative or something. People like that should not work in the hospitality industry; Rather should be hiding in a closet somewhere.

Kristina was our server, she was awesome. We got to the restaurant at 7:15 in the morning and she was very pleasant and much more awake than we were! She was very gracious in her hospitality we did not want for anything! Our first experience with Black Bear Diner was in Goodyear, AZ in 2010! So cool they’ve expanded. The French toast and sweet cream pancakes were awesome! Love the thick cut bacon and eggs with cheese! Great restaurant, responsive staff, love it! Thank you so much!

We had breakfast on a Thursday. We were catching up with my cousin which I hadn’t seen in years our waitress never put pressure on us to order. When we did the food came out quickly and was delicious. No one left hungry.
