Pam, the manager, has worked there for over 20yrs. She works beside her team and takes pride in running her location. The team is like family to her. The food and atmosphere represents DQ Incorporated and the original franchise owner, Mr. Smith, very well. Always clean, always friendly, and always busy. That speaks volumes.
Everytime ive been to this Dairy Queen theres been excellent everything. Super great people working there. Restaurant work is hard work. I did it when i was very young. It was clean, the food was great. And like every place I've visited since moving here, to Smithville, everyone is so kind & friendly. Im so glad i moved here.I do wish more places delivered. But all in all, its a very nice place to live.

Chicken & Dumpling soup! The staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating for our large group (about 15 people). We were all able to all sit close enough to each other to see and hear everyone in our group.

I am so disappointed. I ordered my food and when I went to pay their credit card terminal was down. So they restarted and tried a few ways to pay. But, they submitted my order and even gave me my cups for drinks BEFORE my payment went through. Finally my payment went through and was confirmed. But then I was told the order cancelled. Meanwhile my food was ready and in hand and on our table. Instead of just giving us the food they took it back. And I had to leave with my grandmother who uses a walker. So instead of just giving good customer service and letting us have the food we ordered and they prepared, they decided it would be best to throw it away because their system was not working. Why would you prepare our food. Give it to me. Have me fill our cups. Without a secured payment. And then make us leave. Awful awful awful customer service!I will be keeping an eye on my bank account. Because I see a pending transaction.

This place is genuinely the worst thing that could even be allowed in a public view. if this food chain was not the only one and had competition, The FDA and OSHA would shut this whole place down. The head manager who has been running the place for years, could care less about her employees, shows why she can’t keep any workers. She is not willing, nor did teach employees, and when asked by her or co-workers. their thought of training is by throwing you front face to let you make mistakes and take backlash. they have no orientation what’s so ever. and the food? already cooked in the morning and they all just mircrowave it all day with no gloves. and the customers in town were very disrespectful and racist, shoving food towards me for saying it’s wrong because of the other issues, them not teaching. this review is not a joke and i held my mouth to long. i will 100% make sure someone comes and see this facility and everyone knows how truly horrible the work place is. If kids or people didn’t settle for the country or this one and only job out here, it would be out of business, that’s a fact. not only as a customer but an employee. And if this doesn’t telling you anything there’s a whole lot more

Firstly, we have 2 options for fast food in Smithville. Subway and Dairy Queen. I would easily take the most unclean and incompetent McDonalds here but instead we've got this absolute atrocity of a DQ. Overpriced. Filthy. Zero sense from anyone working there. They get my order wrong almost every time. Staff is horrible, food quality is corrosive. Blizzard was melted, was overcharged for stuff I didn't get AND the food made me throw up. I just threw up $30 worth of food. To hell with this place. Don't give them your hard earned money.
