First time there. Food was so good that I ate everything on my combo plate. The crispy beef taco was soggy in the middle but very full and tasty. I forgot the other two items that came with it, but they were also very good. One thing lacking from the menu is mole, but that's forgivable.

I love the El gringo their shrimp brochette is the best side to their fajitas. Only thing I'd like to see is peppers in their fajitas. But, I will continue to eat here.

For a small town, population less than 5k, it was surprisingly good. The atmosphere was very nice with good music playing. Super friendly service! Definitely recommend! Regulars kept streaming in so it must be the town favorite.

That was amazing food! On the way to Austin from Huston. Had quail 2 with rice and salad with onion and tomato finally 3 tortillas. Its good food quail was so crispy. It’s a bird ? for sure one should try it. Never expected this on the remote way where no restaurant found.
The beef enchilada plate was stale like the food was frozen and not fresh. The flan was not good so skip that. The chips are the worst ever. Stick with the carne asada plate as it seems like a better deal. Service is friendly and attentive. Will try again later and see if they improve I guess.
