I have been going to Pockets since i was child (for 20 years) and have always had a great experience and everything has always been superb. Lately though, it's been mistake, bad service, rude cooks, touching food to remove things before customer receives it and bad time management. I will no longer be going there due to these interactions and issues. Very sad that it's like this now.

Visited on Friday 4/5/2024. Pros: Nice looking restaurant with movie photos and a very unique salad bar in the trunk of a car. Nice staff & quick service. The fried mushrooms were good. Cons: The place was very dirty. Bathrooms looked like they haven't been cleaned in weeks, the tables were dirty, especially under the paper towel holder - it was sticky and gross. Even the backs of the chairs were black with filth. My wife became ill from the ceasar salad and my taco salad was no better than Taco Bell - yuk! I try hard to give good reviews but this place needs improvement.

Great lunch, with fast, friendly service. Enjoyed the chalupas and the chicken sandwich.
Good Food, Great portions, clean dinning and kitchen areas condiments, in sealed units. Vegetables in cute old car trunk display. Reasonable prices. But note, They close at 3pm. They do not make any more tea from 2pm if the tea runs out! Only draw back!

Great food, great place. I had a Philly Cheese steak sandwich and my wife had a Rubin sandwich. Both were Very good! The fries were great! The food was ready pretty quick. We have only been once but will be back many times for sure. I recommend this dinner.

Ive been to Pockets twice since i moved to Smithville in late September, 2023.They have memorabilia from some of the movies that were made here. Tee shirts signed by crews of movies. The food was very good both times. 1st time a very green salad, w grilled chicken. Last night i had hickory burger. A lil messy, but delicious and quite filling. The fries were perfect, quite hot when bright to our table. And crunchy outsude tender inside.The menu is large and the staff are very kind, caring and fun to talk to. The wait staff was knowledgeable about the memorabilia, so it was fun learning about that. The wait staff was good at their job, but still made time to chat w us.We got there a lil late, but I'll indefinitely return when i can.
