We love these little town dining jewels. So yummy! American breakfast was spot on. Eggs over medium, crispy bacon, jalapeño cheddar toast & potatoes! Unfortunately, none of the food we ordered and paid for was delivered to our table. After a 40-minute wait, my typically calm wife went to ask what was going on. Finally, we received our food in a plastic bag. This is the most arrogant behavior I have ever seen!

Very much a HomeTown environment. That was exceptionally friendly and treated you like a neighbor.We had the jalapeno popper sandwich and also a Reuben and both were out of this world. The bread was made fresh on premises and it was quite obvious...Staff was very accommodating and more than willing to answer any questions posed. Cute environment to really enjoy a good meal!Ask to speak with the owner which was granted was able to thank her personally for the experience and the exceptionally good food. She was quite gracious and very thankful... if you're in Smithville and don't stop to eat at this wonderful little establishment it'll be your loss!

We were in Smithville for a day and this place was very well attended. Luckily, we walked in right before two very large groups and we didn’t wait long for our food. I ordered the grilled chicken club on jalapeño cheddar bread ($13.25) which was excellent but overpriced. The staff was easy going, answered all of our questions and even though it was counter service, was available throughout the restaurant to buss our table and grab to-go containers. Everything (except for the price) was lovely.

Husband and i were looking for a fresh place to eat breakfast. Well don't eat here unless you plan on waiting on yourself, they bring you a cup for your coffee and you have to serve yourself. $16.25 for 3 eggs, a meat, potatoes. Their prices are high.

Great please to sit and chat with friends or just invite family out to this place! Guaranteed to love the food atmosphere. Like being at grandmas house! ??
