Recently they installed a new fancy Electronic Cash register and it's set up (programmed) to add a service fee to your order. My order was take out and was surprised that 4 breakfast tacos and a drink came out to $ 15 dollars.. No heads up, sign posted or disclosure of the hidden service fees they add to your purchase. Very dishonest and unethical establishment for taking advantage of there customers. In the future I'll go next door to Cherry Top at least I will know that I won't get scammed.

This place really has delicious tacos they are 3.75 each but they are worth it they put rice and beans you just have to ask them at no charge i went today I've been about 5 or 6 times and the food is always fresh flour and corn tortillas hand made and really good

If you are ever on the southeast side of Houston, stop by this meat market. They have some delicious tacos, homemade beans, and flour tortillas. You will not be disappointed... I'll get a picture next time I'm there.

Good cachete but they are stingy on the salsa and I never got my lemon, for what they charge..ill just have to hope that Cherry Top is open

Ordered the chicken fajita and beef fajita tacos in both corn and flour. Chicken was dry and tough (aka OVERCOOKED). Beef fajitas were chewy and tough also. No sear on the meat, appeared to be steam cooked. Salsas were watery and weak. Not worth it.
Tried the chicken, beef fajita tacos, and the picadillo tacos. The chicken and beef fajita tacos were extremely dry and flavorless. The salsas were also tasteless and had no heat. The picadillo tacos had a spongy texture, where it appeared they had some sort of filler. Will I go back there again, no. Total cost for five tacos $17.

If you live in south Houston or willing to travel for some delicious homemade Mexican food this place is worth the drive. I love tripas and I especially like it when they will throw them back on the grill to cook then crunchy and this is one of the best places to have some delicious CLEAN tripa tacos. Everything is good here especially the menudo with very friendly people to take care of you. I always tip the ladies and they always remember who does so they pack your tacos extra fat when you come next time. A must try place to eat or buy fresh meat!!
