This place is the bomb if you want to see the history, the culture, and the heritage of the types of idiots leaving the cantinas and night clubs in the surrounding area, come by the place on a Friday or Saturday night after 10pm. There you will find the best $1 tacos (cash only, so don't be the dipwad and pull out the ApplePay or Samgsung Pay bullshit like that hipster did last weekend) on a weekend late night compared to anywhere else in the area. The food is cooked on a griddle outside, the guys are not wearing hairnets, gloves, or any sanitary equipment (but that adds additional flavor to the otherwise low budget food. There is a South Houston cop guarding the place late at night, so you can rest assured the homies from the Tango Blast, Latin Kings, and MS-13 will behave themselves because they know that messing with the South Houston cops will get your skulls cracked (they will beat your ass better than the LA Cops to Rodney King) or maybe a asp baton shoved up their ass (heck I should not post that because someone from Montrose will probably enjoy that). Overall a good place to watch gangbangers behave themselves and eat some cheap tacos that have some flavor.
