Some hit and miss days, but on average it's a top 10 taco place in Houston. When it's a hit, it's the best in Texas. Order the beef fajita, pierna and barbacoa tacos. You will not be disappointed, especially at the price.If you are a gringo like me, show your waiter this: "este gringo quiere un taco fajita, un taco pierna, y un taco barbacoa con harina. Cebolla, cilantro, y salsa verde por favor"Also... Try the green sauce -- life changing.

Trying this place for the first time and makes me not want to try new places ever again!The food was mediocre and flavorless except for the refried beans and breaded fish filet, you’d swear they finished all the salt making those 2 dishes and then didn’t have a pinch of salt left for any of the other dishes. I asked for a margarita and they only had them in the rocks, it was the worst one I have ever had. I returned it after the first sip, tasted watered down and no margarita flavor at all!All I wanted was a nice dinner with my family after a long day at work, but I left feeling grossed out and angry. I asked the waitress for the check and also asked if I could get my plate of which I only ate the 3 shrimp which were hard and rubbery, she said she would ask. The manager of the place apparently said no and decided to not even come and ask what the problem was. I told him that at least half of the plate I didn’t even eat should be discounted, but we would pay for the rest because my kids had eaten some of it. He proceeded to argue that the restaurant couldn’t loose money because I didn’t like my food to which I said “I didn’t even eat my food!” He was extremely rude and honestly this is the worst place I have ever casted for Mexican food. We will not be going back and I caution everyone to go at your own risk. They don’t care about the quality of food and the manager is someone who should not be in the service industry.

If you're looking for a great menudo with not an overpowering taste of oregano, then this is the menudo for you. It's not too greasy, right enough hominy, and not overpowered by oregano. You can add pig feet as well. Its delicious. In my top 3 menudo spots in the Southeast.
