I have been to Subways all over Texas and the US. This was the dirtiest place I have been to in a while. I was the only person in the store, one person at the drive through. After they were done talking and killing bugs on the wall, they finally made my sub. It nothing but bread and the worst subway sandwich I've ever had (been going to subway for over 15 years).And what is with the rude employees and Mexican music?I just moved here and will try Subway in South Padre and Brownsville but will not return here and would not recommend. Hopefully I won't get sick.

stopped with wife for lunch and ordered a salad for her and a regular sub for me. no drinks, no chips, etc. I was charged $14.95 for just the sub sandwich. When I questioned the price, the employee smiled and said that they just increased the prices. $14.95 appears excessively over priced.

Google Maps reflects this location closes at 10 pm. Went to dine in, around 8:45 pm (8-04-23). Once inside, found all the chairs and tables stacked on themselves, so as not to be used. I asked store employee what time they closed and he stated 2 am. Asked him if I could eat inside and he said, "no, because the tables and chairs are put away for the night". If business wasn't going to close for more than 5 hours, why couldn't customers eat inside? He further stated, "you can eat outside, or take it with you". I couldn't believe that response. I went ahead and ordered but don't really drink carbonated soft drinks and so asked for a cup for regular water. Had earlier noticed a regular water dispenser at the soft drink station. Same employee stated that they didn't offer any cups for reg water. Why then, does the restaurant offer regular water at the soft drink station? I asked him if I could then have a small cup so I could have water. He informed me that I could not. Further stating that those cups were only for soft drink purchases.I have never been to a more un-friendly customer oriented Subway location. I will not be returning to this restaurant. When I'm on the island again and wanting a sandwich, I'll defiantly look for other options.

Subway seemed to be a good choice since it closed at 10, but when we arrived, the worker who took our order made every effort to making us feel unwelcome and was very rude at the same time! We were not even allowed to eat in the dining room and had to eat outside in the South Padre humidity. Apart from that, he overcharged us on our meals. Mind you, 2 Meatball meals with a soup and three cookies for $35! Not worth disputing these charges since we were already disgusted with the service. If I could give 0 stars I would!
