My family has spent the last few years looking for what we believe to be the best sushi near us. We all love Cowtown Sushi because of the consistency and quality of their menu. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It's nice enough for a date, but not overly stuffy. The pride in the craft is apparent not only in the taste, but also in the presentation, especially the Mt Fuji roll that has become a must have on the list of rolls we order during a visit. If I had to point out a flaw, it would only be the halogen track lighting, while mostly well controlled and balanced so you can see your food and dining companions a handful of seat positions in the restaurant get the spotlight effect and it can be straining on your eyes.

Food is so/so. Typical sushi, nothing special. They answer the phone about 1/2 the time so it’s really hard to get takeout unless you want to wait there after you order. Inside has very little atmosphere.

I Love Cowtown Sushi!! They have the best and freshest salmon sushi and sashimi I have ever had! Every time I order it, it's amazing. I ask for a thin slice of lemon and now it's the only way I can eat it. I was a "roll" girl, but their delicious salmon is the only way to go. Thank you for consistently making my day. They don't know how to make Katsudon. Why would you put fishcakes and mushrooms into an egg, onion, and fried pork dish. I don't want my Katsudon to taste like fish....

Great food...best dragon roll I've ever had. Love the Japanese menu items (gyoza, chicken teriyaki, etc) too. And great service. It's in an odd location (strip center next to Albertsons)... don't judge a book by its cover.

The food was great, the service wasawful - we felt very, very rushed wegot there around at 8 oclock andwere rushed to order, and alsorushed even more to eat and wereeven told they were closing at 9. Asit got closer to that time the pressure to get us out was overwhelming so we left and didn't even get a chance to finishour drinks, then I went online tocheck their hours operation only tofind at on Saturday hours are 5-9:30 PM, this is not only bad customer service but very bad for their own business.We noticed when we got there at 8:00 there was only 2 people there, maybe the word it out not to go there around closing due to the overwhelming pressure by staff to get you out of there?

On their website, their hours are till 10pm on week nights. However we were turned away when we got there at 8pm today! Very disappointed as we were there to celebrate a birthday and the server there was very rude. Zero customer service. We went to SUSHI ZEN instead. Hands down best sushi in town!!
