They have this mastered! Customer service and excellent in taste and presentation of food! The portions are large and the prices are fair. Plus you get to bring your own wine! I am vegan so they made me whole wheat rigatoni. The pasta texture was perfect and the flavor of the San Marzano tomato sauce was out of this world! My husband had chicken Valdostano Our son had seafood over pasta. We all were very pleased also their salads are humongous so be prepared for that as well as they are delicious and creative! We don’t live here but I can’t wait to come back to southlake again for a business to visit This very special restaurant again!

We were traveling & looking for a good meal. So glad we stopped here. Everything we ordered was delicious. The portions are huge, food came quick, the servers were all polite & professional. Even my kids enjoyed their meals (my kids are so hard to feed!) 10/10

It pains me to post this review, normally would have given 5 stars. Ristorante Mulino has been a favorite for several years but tonight's meal was not the usual pleasant experience. My party of 2 arrived well before 5 (Friday night) & there were 2 other tables occupied. We were immediately rushed to order. Server came by 2 times before we even got our wine opened & had a chance to speak to each other much less look over the menu. We stated that we were not in a hurry & did not want the food rushed out. Server continued to come by & we finally ordered salad. Again, we said no hurry & reluctantly gave the entree orders but said not to bring yet. Food came out before half done with salad. (Meanwhile food getting cold.) Staff continued to cruise by observing our progress & not because they were checking on our needs. I know it's a small place & Friday night but if I wanted to be rushed through a nice meal I would go elsewhere. We ordered some entrees to go & a dessert to have while waiting (which we made very clear). Again, they were in such a hurry to get us out of there, the to go order came out immediately & dessert was served in a to go container! I think that was the most rushed meal I have ever experienced in a restaurant. We were barely able to squeeze around staff cleaning off the table so we could hurry & leave.Regarding the food, it was great as usual although they have changed the Carbonara recipe. It's been a few months since we were in but it used to be much creamier. Just wasn't up to the previous deliciousness. Campo Salad & Shrimp Scampi was great & of course ditto for the Tiramisu, although the tin to go container detracted.At some point you need to appreciate the current customer, not worry about how many tables you can serve in one night. We don't believe it was the server's fault, just following orders.
