Have eaten here for years before they moved to a smaller shop. Always love catching up with the owners and their family. I can recommend bacon/egg/cheese croissants, old fashioned donuts (my favorites are the unglazed), apple fritters and so much more. Wish they did business from my backyard....maybe not.Parking: Never had a problem finding a parking place close to the door.
Love that this place is open so early and actually affordable!! I ordered an iced coffee. It was about $4 dollars but it was huge and delicious! At Starbucks or anywhere else for half the size you'd pay that and even more. The kolaches are delicious! I ordered a sausage , jalapeño and cheese the other day and they accidentally gave me a plain one, but it's ok next time I know to bite into it before I leave. Magnificent donuts! Wonderfully prepared with a perfect balance of sweetness and fluffiness but also having a good bit of substance. True testament of a donut is trying to eat them the next day: these tasted amazing a day later! Small spot but big taste and a wonderful option for anytime looking for donuts in the north Houston area!
