Had the fried shrimp & fish with hush puppies. Cornmeal batter was very good. Shrimp & fish seemed fresh. Hush puppies were more like cake than chrispy. Beneighs were also cakelike, not light & fluffy. But they had plenty powdered sugar.
Great food with actual taste, it's been a while since last visit and quality stayed consistent. Fried catfish was good and blackened catfish not so good, meat was less in quantity and mushy texture. Sides we're great and once again, had flavor were Service was good and it is family friendly establishment. Plenty of parking casual ambiance, prices are okay as any restaurant, somewhat higher. They have sit in and carry out. Will attempt to try more entries...until next time.

Love the food and the service. My BF and I went just before closing so we weren't able to dine in but the chick taking our order offered us a free drink. How nice!! We have eaten here several times and we really enjoy it. The blackened catfish was really good and he enjoyed all his yummy fried goods. Great little place.
