My husband and I came here a lot when it first opened. Prices were very fair and people were inviting. We came in tonight to a near 50% increase in food prices, subpar cuisine, and inattentive staff. Will not be back. I won't be surprised if this closes in 6 months.

Everyone was really nice and my sweet potato fries were good burger was not. I got the bacon avacado burger and it was horribly greasy. Anyways got food poisoning from it. Wouldn't advise eating here. My husband didn't even eat his fish and shrimp. Smelt spoiled.

Extremely poor service. Young male server named Chris was sent to take our order & took our drink order (iced tea) then went & milled about behind the counter & in back disappearing completely for long enough that another employee asked if we'd been helped then found him somewhere in the back. She returned & said that she would be our server although he brought our drinks & was Johnny on the spot with our bill & when it came time for our tip and apologized for his earlier inattention. Before that we had to flag him down just to get takeout boxes for our meal.The food was so-so with my husband's meatloaf being somewhat dry & only a thin line of 'sauce'. My Cajun seafood was very good and our fried green tomatoes were okay. The batter was very good but the variety of tomatoes used had a very tough skin.

Been wanting to try this place and so glad I finally came! Their hot fresh rolls are amazing, chicken fried chicken and cream gravy was excellent, and the peach cobbler was a great end to the meal. They're very affordable and the food all tastes freshly made. They have daily specials from Mon-Sat, 2 for $25 and all apps and desserts are under $7. Will come back soon, maybe on unlimited fried fish, fries, and hush puppy fryday ?

From there appetizers to desserts is like home cooking away from home without the mess of dishes.
