I ordered a catfish plate with fries, a side of okra, and a child catfish plate with red beans and rice. The portion sizes are great, which is why I gave it two stars. But the food, no way. The fries and okra were good. The fish was horrible. It looked good, but definitely did not taste anything like it looked. It didn’t even taste like catfish honestly. And the red beans and rice taste like water.

Mike is the man, we go there for lunch at least once a week last week I requested the cajun pasta but substituted the chicken for shrimp and OMG it was amazing!!!

Food not good had way better Cajun food than this. The chicken pasta with a little spice was not spicy at all. Just taste like Alfredo with some tony chacheres sprinkled in it topped with lots of cheese. Added shrimp and sausage to it , the sausage was salty regular store bought sausage no andouille like Cajun places use. "Garlic bread" was po.boy bread with butter. Seafood platter was ok, crab cakes were gross. Tartar sauce was sweet didn't go well with fish. Batter on fried food was not too good,, fries were soggy.Had a side of dirty rice which wasn't dirty rice at all it was Mexican rice with tomatoes. Only giving a 1 star because the portions are big and its convient to be able to call in your order and pick it up through drive thru. Im assuming the people who gave good reviews never had real Cajun food so they don't know any better. Shouldve read all the 1 star reviews first.

This place has flavorful and nicely portion foods. Ordered thru DD and received my food hot. Ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo, nice but I didn't like the okra (slimy). Also had the signature chicken pasta. That dish was good but I think they use the season thyme and I had an allergic reaction to that. But other that the good was filling.

The food here was amazing!! The weakest link was the crab cake but even that was really good. The fish and the shrimp are second to none. Only downfall was they were out of mac and cheese so I didn't get to try the crawfish mac and cheese. But we went late. Will for sure be back. Again and again.

This is my first time eating at this restaurant...so I'm just gonna give my review. We ordered the smothered catfish which comes with white rice and gumbo, we also ordered the smothered pork chops which comes with rice and jambalaya...both were fixed great. I don't have any complaints other than the catfish could have used a little bit more salt or some type of seasoning to make it pop. The smothered pork chop I think was well seasoned and proportioned, good price but I probably would have not cooked them as long....they were a little tough. We also ordered some boudin balls, they were cooked well but I'm not too much of a mushy type of boudin. Also keep in mind that this is a Cajun place ...for those who don't like spicy food you need to let them know that you do not eat spicy food. We ordered a side item of macaroni and cheese which was very hot to me... though some may have think it's perfect I think it takes away from the flavor! I really can't taste the flavor of the food over spicy. All I can say is try and see for yourself, if you eat at this restaurant otherwise flavor quantity and price fabulous!
The portions were great and the food was fresh, it was a great experience and I love it. I will love to come here everyday if I could, however I cannot since I live in Conroe. But I will come again!! :)

I ate here today. I ordered two piece tilapia and five shrimp, which came with fries. I also ordered a chicken and sausage gumbo and a crab cake.The the fish and shrimp had an alright flavor. I prefer my fish and shrimp fried with cornmeal. The fish I believe was fried with breadcrumbs and the shrimp with a flour batter. However, that's just a textural preference for me. The fries were over-seasoned. The gumbo was decently flavored, but there was only one piece of sausage in my chicken and sausage gumbo. The worst thing was the crabcake. I didn't like it AT ALL.The young lady behind the counter was pleasant enough. The soda fountain was down, they were giving can sodas as the drink. I was about to pay for a second can, but she just gave it to me and said, "refills are free". I left my phone there, and when I went back to get it, the young lady had put it away for me, so that was nice of her.

We've eaten here a handful of times over past year and the fried food is great. The boudain balls and mac and cheese is also spot on. The reason for me docking a star is because I ordered the Krav'n Catfish Etouffee to go and the veggies in the food container overpowered the flavor of the fish. I highly recommend that when packaging the food in the future, place the veggies in a separate container so that the "veggie smell" isn't soaked up by the fish.
