Great place. Highly recommend. My family of 6 came to eat lunch and everything we ordered was so great. Fajitas are amazing, margaritas, the enchiladas poblanas were so good! If you like poblano peppers you'll definitely love those! The staff was so kind and attentive. Our waiter Brandon kept checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I love going to eat amazing food and also receiving great service. It's very rare nowadays. From talking to the owner, Juan, I learned he just took over the restaurant recently. I wish him the best of luck!

A jewel in Katy. Last time I was we visited was 15 years ago.. we were able to make it to Katy this weekend they decided to come here just to find out that it had been sold and has new management. Mr Juan has definitely made great upgrades to the place. The menu is very concise and neat to understand. Prices are very reasonable. Every plate we got for breakfast, had a generous portion. Every plate comes with homemade tortillas. Staff it was very attentive always ready to care of you. Coffee never wavered. Highly recommend to get the pancakes. They didn't even need syrup. They're so buttery , crispy on outside the edges and fluffy in the inside. They serve them in a portion of two. It's pretty large. Restrooms also, very clean. Mr Juan and his staff take pride in their job. Making you feel very welcomed. Can't wait to try their diner menu. I have a gluten intolerance, and they had plenty of options for me. Will definitely be back!

Not sure why it's so highly rated. The people are nice but the food was terrible. It also smelt like a tire shop. Your better off going to Gringos or Torchy. Had coffee and chilaquiles and the food seemed to be made by someone that is blind. Please avoid.

We went in for the reopening under new management. Some of the prior reviews had me worried what I experience. Any comments prior to this reopening on March 22nd 2024, are irrelevant and out of date. The new owner has cleaned up. The food was tasty and service impeccable. The margaritas were delicious. We will go back again and again.

Unbelievable service and food. Highly recommend this place. Ambiance is somewhat diner like, and the coffee is horrible. But the machacado is great, especially con huevos in a breakfast taco

It is a small place, the barbacoa de lengua is good, the rest is so so.

Very traditional Mexican food spot. You know it's good food when they offer Modelo. I got the lunch fajitas and I did not wait long. My food came out hot and my tortillas were warm. The beef wasn't over cooked or tough to chew. Thinly sliced and seasoned very well. They have some good refried beans! The place looks like a traditional taco spot Mexican style. The owners were very nice and the gentleman helped me select from the lunch menu.

Good Mexican spot. Have only been once, and had the tacos. Would like to explore other items on the menu. They were good but slightly bland the torta was probably my favorite out of the options we got.

Great traditional Mexican food breakfast spot in old Katy. Love their fresh squeezed orange juice and smoothies along with breakfast tacos and kids like their pancakes with eggs and bacon plate. Hits the spot.

Worse food ever! Don't come and waste your money on this place. 58.00 for a waste. Food was burnt and the menudo was soggy and like it was left overs. The bacon was burnt. The eggs were over cooked. The BBQ meat was cold and the tortilla chips were burnt. Worse place in old Katy

Delicious menudo! Pozole is like home made. This is a home cooked style type mexican restaurant. You CANNOT compare to places like cucos across the street. This is real home cooked mexico! Its hot in here, not sure if their air is out but I tell you, food is like mo other I have tried before in the Katy Area.
