The menu has a section that changes weekly with new items and a regular menu that never changes, so you visit every week and try something new every time. The appetizer was wonderful, and I wish I had remembered the name of it, but the next time I visit, I will remember to check. The beef Empanadas and my chocolate tres Leche were the best I have had in a long time. ? Food and margaritas were great. The service was top notch. Everyone working was so friendly, made it feel like you were dining at a friend’s house. Even have throw blankets on chairs in case you get chilly. Seemed like there were quite a few regulars dining, which just proves how good it is.

I was initially unsure about this place due to its small, cozy appearance, but it completely won me over! The hibiscus mezcal cocktail I tried was incredibly refreshing and is definitely a must-try. We began with the beef empanadas, which were both succulent and packed with flavor. For my main course, I chose the Albondigas En Caldillo and was amazed by its authentic and scrumptious taste. My husband opted for the Enchiladas Verdes, and they were a hit, featuring perfectly cooked chicken and an impeccable tomatillo sauce. I'm already planning regular visits, eager to explore the ever-changing options on the right side of the menu. Kudos to Mexican Mom for an exceptional dining experience!

The real deal mom and pop restaurant with homemade food and an upscale, quaint atmosphere. Do not expect speedy service (this is not a bad thing). This is not a “fast food” joint so relax and enjoy….The food is made 100% from scratch and SO worth the wait. The Hibiscus Mezcalita is refreshing, sweet and will kick your a$$! Verde sauce and chimichurri are phenomenal. Empanadas are light and stuffed full! This place is truly a hidden gem.
