The lunch special I ate was delicious and the perfect amount of food to fill a hard working man up.

So I bout a Chicken Lo Mein... had a roach in it... when I went to show the lady at the counter.. she gave me my cash back, at my request. The way she reacted tells me this has happened before...safe to say I'll never be eating anything from

One star ONLY because I couldn’t give it half a star. While waiting the lady is cleaning off a table, then sweeps and picks up things off the floor with her bare hands. She didn’t wash her hands afterwards and brought out our food. My husband thought it would be ok because she was only touching the outside of the plates and not the food. The wings were the nastiest we’ve ever had, they were literally just fried without being seasoned with anything. The shrimp fried rice was ok. My husband said that the pepper steak was nasty and didn’t taste like beef and kept spitting it out and stopped eating. The general joes chicken was subpar with no flavor. The best thing was the bottled coke.

Returning after my 2019 visit. This restaurant got hit hard, post COVID-19. They've had to cut a lot of things. One of my favorite family businesses. Unfortunately that means that the magic is gone. Most recently their soda machine broke, so now they are serving bottled drinks in styrofoam cups. The entire sushi menu has been removed, and the Sushi chef is gone. The Chinese cuisine is still decent, however it really isn't anything you couldn't get elsewhere. The staff is down to the owner and her immediate family. Soft spoken and ever so sweet. Just trying to hold on and see it through to the other side. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that Ming's can offer their historical greatness without the support of its local community.I'm hoping they shrink down the menu and invest in making their signature dishes, while they invest in a turn around.During my recent visit, I the Sweet and Sour Chicken lunch special which comes with an egg roll, a bowl of soup, and rice. I got a wonton soup (which comes with two wontons.) I also upgraded to fried rice for an extra charge. (Total, 8.50 + drink, tax, and tip,)I'll admit the food was pretty good and I was satisfied. 4/5; but, without the staff, the ambiance and the quality, the overall experience is hurting. I cannot recommend Ming's for a date, but a quick meal and a great lunch to-go? It's a solid choice.I wish only the best for "Ming's" as many Chinese and Japanese food houses are disappearing. Especially out in Spring, TX.Here's hoping for a bright future.

They used to be decent. The food quality changed 4 5 months ago. Less veggies in platters. The customer service has gotten worse. They charged my buddy twice for same meal two seperate instances. They have forgotten my sweet and sour sauce for sweet and sour chicken 2 seperate times. First time I drove back picked up sauce.Second time I didn’t have time. Completely ruined meal. The batter for the sweet and sour chicken is quite thick and the chicken itself isn’t edible without the sauce. Will never go back. Sorry Mings but so many instances of disappointment not receiving my ordered meal and what is becoming subpar food with whatever changes they have made to cut costs has made what was a 4 star review become a 1 star.
