The food was great. Very nice and beautiful restaurant. The food looked and tasted amazing Next time I will hopefully have more time to go to their wine bar. Service by the way was great on a Saturday.

It is VERY small, so definitely make a reservation. It was also very pricey for what was actually served. I know tapas means small plates and I have had it many times but they are usually affordable small plates - not so at this place. Also, the octopus was not good - it tasted like the sea...in Galveston. We would not return. Positives - it is cute inside and does have good service.

Someone took me to this wonderful place on a weekend and it exceeded my expectations. I was so relaxed and comfortable there. The waiter and waitresses have great customer service. The food was beautifully served and tasted great. Why couldn't I have found this place sooner? Not only did they serve food but they also have a wine bar next door and a venue. The wine bar would be my next trip.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian empanadas

Such a cute date spot. They don’t have a liquor license so they only serve wine. We tried a lot of their tapas and most were very good. Portion size were very small for the cost this is the only reason I gave them 4 stars. Service was good!

PHENOMENAL FIND!! My wife and another couple got a table at 5pm, and we were immediately impressed with the decor and the beautiful Jamon sitting on the bar. Being fans of tapas and wine, we ordered almost every dish on the menu over the evening, along with bottles of Rioja and a Pinot Noir. From the bread service, to Jamon Iberico, to the Pulpo and the charcuterie board, we were constantly impressed and amazed at the flavors and authenticity of our tapas. The pulpo was perfect with just the right grill char, supremely tender and seasoned so well. We even convinced our friend who is from the Caribbean, yet had never had octopus, to try it, and he loved it! We ordered the chicken and rabbit paella, but we should have ordered the seafood paella- the smell of our neighbors’ was enticing. The service was next level, with Jennifer being our primary waitress. The owner, Tomas, a master sommelier, apparently trains his staff extensively on all of the food and wine, and it shows!! Jennifer recommended two excellent Tempranillos, and a Pinot for our friend. And the pairings for our desserts were spot on as well.Overall, a tremendous spot, with an owner and staff who are masters of their craft, and extraordinarily hospitable.

Service was so slow and we were the only ones here? Plus we ordered a salad and we ended up getting it to go since it was delivered AFTER the dessert.I want to come back and give the place another try since it was so cute and quaint inside but the slow service and salad to go was no acceptable for the amount we spent. The duck was amazing and the empanadas were good. The decor and ambience is so elegant and makes you feel like you’re in Spain, at a tapas bar.

Beautiful choices of wine and appetizers. I felt like I was in France. They provide samples to sip. Prices are very expensive but it's a classy place, despite the architecture of exterior. $$$$

Be prepared. Plates here are really quite expensive and portions are small, but they are very tasty and well presented. Wine is expensive compared to most places. We won't return.

Plane &Level never disappoints. The food is superb and the service is incredible! This was not our first time at the restaurant but we took a couple of friends last afternoon and they were very impressed with everything.

Food was fair. Charcuterie board was brought out with no bread. We asked for bread. They didn't bring it until the charcuterie board was almost finished plus it was $10. Service was slow. Portions were the smallest tapas I have ever had. Would not go back.

Plane & Level wasn't exactly what we envisioned, the experience here took flight nonetheless! We were promptly seated and immediately impressed by Jenna's attentive and knowledgeable service. Her expert guidance helped us discover fantastic wine pairings for each of our delicious small plates, leading up to the grand finale - the paella. It lived up to the hype, leaving us both satisfied and happy. A special shoutout to Jenna for making our Valentine's Day truly unforgettable! Cannot wait to come back and do it all over again!

We used to go in at least every other weekend. But something has changed and it’s not for the better. The manager only had one table to take care of, and she never even acknowledged us. Our server didn’t know who we were or what we order. She was nice enough, but as often as we have been there, everybody knew us. She acted like she had never seen us before. We went for the experience. That is gone now. The mood was strained, the service was bad, and the warmth was just gone. Probably won’t be back.

We had a great time at this restaurant! We sat at the bar and Janna took great care to explain the menu and the different wines that they have (great selection). My wife took the foie gras and i took the duck breast. Wow, both plate were excellent and worth trying. We finish with a great dessert a machingo cheese cake. Very nice ambiance and conversation with Jenna and the bar owner. We certainly make this a regular stop for us.
