The service was the best!! Out server was amazing. We tried the caprese salad, the portions are good. The pizzas feed two people easily.

I really wanted to enjoy this place however, it is Summer in Texas & apparently their AC was out. It was insanely hot, we couldn't even enjoy our food or the drinks. They were “out” of almost all the bourbons they have listed. The waitress was sweet but then she goes over to our table to tell us they are closing early because its slow, mind you our food is still in front of us so after that we are basically rushed out. We enjoy cigar lounges & wanted to return but after that, I think we will stick to the other cigar lounge in Old Town Spring. It was definitely not worth the $86 bill. We had 2 steak dinner specials & 3 drinks.

Had a fantastic time at Prohibition. Parking is tricky, best to park in the open lot at the end of the street. But it seems sadly a truck was broken into in that lot. If you are lucky to park infront, great. Caught the Happy Hour on Thursday with a shared steak dinner. Drinks were delicious, and the bartender knew how to make the best Smoked Old Fashioned. For this, we will definitely be back. But the chef does not know how to make a Medium Rare steak lol. Don't forget to check out the cigar lounge upstairs if you want a bit more quiet and comfortable seating. I hear there's a Bluetooth speaker you can have some music going if others enjoy it. Overall, outstanding bar.

We enjoy stopping in here when we're in the area. Convenient place to meet friends and have a drink with snacks if it's early enough to find parking. Worth checking out if you haven't and worth coming back if you have.

They tout it as a Speakeasy but it is not. Made reservation on OpenTable for 930. Walked in and is a young crowd bar scene. Bar tables. No loungers or 50's vibe we were expecting. This is actually the same building where the old pizza place was.. I think it was "The Joint" before Covid. Bar tender came over and took our order very quickly. Drinks are wonderful. We asked if there were sofas and loungers upstairs but they said there was no bar service upstairs and the Loungers were only in the cigar bar upstairs. Large group of young people walked in around 1015. We ordered a brussel sprouts and cajun pork belly bites. Both good. Nice place but for a younger crowd. As busy as they were, staff kept up and were attentive.

Let's start when we arrive - they DO have a ramp. Except the door to it is shut. The only other entrance is up stairs. It's also not well signed. Then the menu itself - the low cost laminated paper menu is different from the online and Google menus. The drinks are well overpriced and definitely don't taste like they should - make sure you order a bottle so you can ensure the drinks aren't being changed around! The server was blunt, not courteous.Oh, and there are no refills on soft drinks. So the low quality staff and menus screams 'mediocre' and yet they want to act like a high end resturant (which even then many do refills)The pizza itself was determined 'meh' by all of our party. Equal at best pizza hut taste, not nearly as good as mod pizza.Incredibly overpriced for what you get. They even charged full price for stingy amount of toppings on half the pizza - order half, get charged full, and get a small amount to begin with. Will never come back.

Stopped at Prohibition Texas Bar last night for their Thursday Night steak special. Web site advertised $13.95. The price was recently changed to $15.95 but web site not updated. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff friendly. With drinks and food the bill was $42.90 but when we checked out the bill had an additional $4.26 added. Food surcharge was $3.13. Drinks surcharge was $0.42. Because the tip is added to the end I ended up paying an additional $0.71 tip on all the surcharges. Since the food was just okay, we probably won’t go back.

Appetizers and drinks were solid and a bit elevated considering how casual the environment is. It was a full house at 6:00pm on a Thursday and it felt like there were lots of "regulars". The place was a bit smoky, my companion thought perhaps it was "steak night" and the grill was smoking up a storm, but it was not so bad that I wanted to escape. Service was good and conversational considering the place was packed and there were only two waitstaff. I ordered two wines off of a fairly extensive list, but they did not have either of them, but they had other alternate options I liked. It is a nice casual relaxed place to pop in for a craft cocktail, a glass of wine and some appetizers (and the dinner menu looks really good too) and we enjoyed sharing the bread pudding for dessert with an Irish Coffee.

Just FYI, they do not get reservations from Open Table. I thought this place was a regular restaurant, but it's more of a saloon that also has food. It's very casual. I actually thought I walked in a side door, because there wasn't a hostess stand. Then we learned it's open seating. The dining room is very small, but we didn't have trouble getting a table for four on a Saturday night. They have very good cocktails, and our server was very friendly. There's a cigar lounge upstairs that we enjoyed more than our dining experience. I'm sure we'll go back one day, but probably just for drinks and cigars. Also, it's just street parking so be prepared to do the block a few times to find a spot unless you take an Uber.

We had such an excellent visit! The dining room and outdoor patio were busy but not packed. The pizza was fabulous. The goat cheese salad was deelish. The wine was reasonably priced. This might be my most recommended restaurant yet!!!

When we arrived they did not show our reservations and started to seat us next to a large party that was standing around/leaning on our table. We opted to sit at the bar instead. The bartender served very paltry drinks while we saw others get full drinks. The food was typical bar food - nothing special. Not sure we would go back there again.

New to the area.. I’m not familiar with old town spring…decided to check this place out. When I arrived I was a little confused where the entrance was located, I entered on the bar side probably looking lost bc I was..I asked the gentlemen working at the bar if this was spring pizza, I placed an order for pickup? He replied the girls behind the bar can help you. Instead of asking me , they assume amongst themselves that I’m DoorDash and walked to the back. I stand there and wait (not very long) before I ask the gentleman again is this spring pizza? Because they seem confused. He then responds I don’t know.. then bartender comes back doesn’t say anything to me, so I inform them that I’m just there to pick up my order I placed, that I’m not with DoorDash, no one says anything… So I walk out and I dial the main number Bc I’m thinking I must be at the wrong place. A very nice lady answers, I asked where they are located, I’m trying to find the entrance and she says there’s only one entrance and she was standing outside, so I walk around and find the nice lady at the front of the business.I walk in and I’m like I’m here to pick up an order.. she knows what I’m talking about ..hurray!! Then the bartender appears behind the nice lady.. The nice lady brings the pizza and wings, I check out and leave. So I get home hoping that the pizza is better than the customer service I received and unfortunately it wasn’t. For the price that was the smallest large pizza I’ve ever seen. (large pizza and 10 wings for 33.96 that’s before a tip) The flavor and crust of the pizza was ok, we would rate it 3 out of 5, just on taste alone. The wings were nice in size the Parmesan garlic had nice flavor, the Cajun flavor was a bit salty. We live 5.7 miles away ,but they don’t deliver. We love supporting local business but this experience was extremely disappointing. Our search for good pizza in spring still continues..

"WE WENT AGAIN - AND - WELL, READ BELOW --- My Wife and I were at 'Prohibition Texas' in Old Town Spring a few weeks back, enjoyed what we had and met up with Friends there last night. I made Reservations for us and when we arrived everyone was there at our table. Holly is our Server, handed us their Drink & Food Menus. When she returned a few minutes later we ordered our drinks. Half of us wanted their Blond Draft Beers but she said they were out of them - so we picked something else. I went with the 'Pumpkin Ale' because, well, it's 'Pumpkin Ale' and it's that time of year once again. Holly said it's from Excalibur Brewing in Old Town Spring, a couple blocks away. My Wife ordered their 'Red Sangria'. After everyone had their drinks - we toasted. Prohibition Texas is decorated like the Speakeasies of Yesteryear and with several people here already it does get noisy - but that's also the fun part of being here. It's like being in your 20's once again in a Pub filled with people doing what you're doing. My Pumpkin Ale tasted pretty good but is a little weak on the Pumpkin flavor but has a nice little bite. My Wife really likes her Sangria - and it has several Blueberries atop. We all chatted some more then looked over the Menu trying to decide what to order. When we decided it was time - we did. My Wife is going with the 'Hangover Fries'; Crispy Fries loaded with Beer Cheese, Grilled Steak, Pico de Gallo, Avocado & Sour Cream. It's listed on the 'French Fries' list. I'm having the 'Prohibition Burger'; 1/2 lb Patty topped with Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato & Pickles on a Brioche Bun - chose side to be Regular French Fries. A couple more of these Burgers were ordered by the others. Also their 'BLTA' (Sandwich); Thick Cut Pork Belly sliced with Blackberry Ketchup, topped with Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado on Toasted Sourdough with Rosemary Aioli. And a 'Pesto Veggie Pizza'; Basil Pesto, Artichoke, Mushroom, Onion, Spinach & Potato - Sprinkled with Mozzarella. While we waited for our food we drank - it's a Speakeasy and that's what you do - so we did. I finished my Pumpkin Ale and ordered a Red Sangria. I tried my WIfe's first and it was really good - so I got one. Holly brought it over and it is a Full Glass with many Fresh Blueberries sitting atop. A couple sitting at the next table is having their 'Bloody Mary Flight' and they gave a 'Thumbs Up' on this and it does look Good. Soon our food started arriving and everyone received theirs except for the Pizza and BLTA were not ready as yet. My Wife's 'Hangover Fries' looks pretty good and there is a lot of it. She said the Fries were not served hot but the Beer Cheese on them is pretty good stuff but a small amount compared to the plate of Fries - not much Beer Cheese. I tried them and that Beer Cheese on the Fries is pretty good stuff but not hot and the Fries are not crisp. It also has small bite size bits of Steak on there and she said some were really chewy and a few were tender. My Prohibition Burger is a Half Pound Patty that was cooked Well-Well-Well-Well Done - Way Over on the Well Done side - as were the other Prohibition Burgers at our table. It's also Very Dry and no amount of Sauce of any kind could save this Burger - and Very Little Cheddar Cheese. The Burger is suppose to be a 1/2 pounder but it doesn't look like it even comes close to this - maybe they use a low quality meat and it disappears when grilled. I slopped it up the best I could but that Well-Well-Well-Well Done Patty needed more help than I could give it. One of us at our table really likes their Burger Patty cooked Well-Well Done and she said that this Patty was Way Over Done for her - and Very Dry. The Brioche Bun seemed like it was a little old. The other Burgers were the same way. Holly apologized for the Pizza being late and said it would be out in 4 minutes and that the Kitchen can onl

The food was excellent! We ordered the charcuterie board and it was the biggest we've ever had, but very reasonably priced. We also ordered the bacon wrapped stuffed dates and the fried pickles. All were delicious! Our waitress was extremely efficient and friendly, even though the restaurant was busy. We definitely will be back.

The food, drink and ambiance were good but the service was lacking. We were a group of 7 and they placed an order for food for 2 people and not the other 5. Once the other 5 ordered, it took over 45 minutes to get our food. The food was delicious but they forgot my sweet potato fries and gave me regular fries instead and told me they would give the the sweet potatoes as well. Halfway through my meal I get the basket of almost burned fries so that was disappointing. Another member of our party ordered a second beer, and never received it. Hoping to go back another time to give it a fair shot, could have been an off day.
