During my recent visit to Tropical Smoothie Cafe, I encountered several issues that considerably diminished the quality of my experience. A fundamental aspect of a good smoothie is its texture, and unfortunately, the smoothies I tried were poorly blended. This resulted in a consistency that was neither smooth nor enjoyable, detracting significantly from what one would expect from a specialized smoothie store.The Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie, a blend that should ideally be rich and creamy, unfortunately lacked body. It failed to deliver the indulgent, robust peanut butter flavor that is characteristic of such a smoothie. This was a significant letdown, especially for someone who looks forward to the luxurious texture and flavor that a peanut butter smoothie promises.Moreover, the Detox Island Green Smoothie, which should be a refreshing and revitalizing option, was truly awful. It missed the mark in terms of flavor balance, making it difficult to drink and enjoy. The ineffectiveness in blending the ingredients contributed further to its unappealing nature.Given these experiences, I am compelled to say that I will not be returning to this establishment. It's disheartening when a cafe specializing in smoothies fails to deliver on the most basic expectations of taste and texture. Customers frequent smoothie cafes for high-quality, flavorful, and well-blended drinks, and unfortunately, Tropical Smoothie Cafe did not meet these standards during my visit.

Went in for my Birthday Rewards 24oz smoothie, Chia Banana Boost. She couldn’t get it to blend evenly but it was still good, some of the dates were at the bottom and straw was too small because it was too thick. Thank you!!!!

Extremely rude. Went to pick up an order placed through the app, and nobody acknowledged me for quite a while - until I finally spoke up and asked if I could please pick up my order. She seemed inconvenienced by the request. Then when I said it is only good manners to acknowledge people who come into the establishment she gave me a dirty look and just turned away from me. No hello, no sorry, no have a nice day… nothing.

This place is awesome I just happened to be in the area and decided to go in and check this place out, the atmosphere was so inviting. I was approached immediately by a young lady I believe her name was Andrea her customer service was amazing, she explained their menu to me in full detail then she made a suggestion I’ve been hooked since. In addition to the outstanding customer service the smoothies are delicious the best hands down.

My first time here. Line went pretty fast. Ordered banana pudding ice cream cup with whip cream. It was yummy! My friend ordered the Piccadilly shaved ice. It is for the extravagant. Cherry flavoring with Tajin and cut up sour pickles…
I know this tropical smoothie used to be in spring but they had to move down to 2920 because as far as I’ve heard that Covid messed up their business. I still love the smoothies, their sandwiches, and snacks. Wish they would have beats, carrots, and jalapeños to their menu, but I’m almost certain the third one wouldn’t, but the other two vegetables would be a great hit, but that’s just my opinion. Their customer service is outstanding today I did an Uber and forgot to call Lynn to specify how many pumps and scoops and when I called they said they remembered my name. I appreciate that very much. If you haven’t tried tropical smoothie, you definitely gotta try it!Vegetarian options: Spinach, kale, chai seeds oh my!Dietary restrictions: You have complete charge on how your smoothie is done

I'll start by saying that Tropical Smoothie Cafe has the best options of any smoothie place in my opinion. I like the variety they provide and I think the size is a good value for your money. The Bahama Mama is the best smoothie I've had anywhere and I find myself craving it from time to time. However, I've never had a good experience at this location so I don't feel I can rate it any higher. The first time I ever tried this location, I ordered ahead online. I ended up waiting THIRTY minutes past when my smoothie was supposed to be ready and there was still no progress. I finally approached the counter and the staff realized they had skipped my order. I understand accidents happen, but they were standing around on their phones behind the counter while I waited by the pick up area and they never asked if I needed help. They also didn't apologize when they realized my order was missed. I filled out a survey online about the experience and the manager called me same day. I did find that impressive since it shows he clearly cares about his business. However, he assured me that he would send me a few coupons and wanted me to come back and try their smoothies again on the house. I never received those coupons. Regardless, I decided to give them another try and had a similar experience with waiting the second time. I haven't gone back since simply because it's a bit of a drive for me that I can't justify when you also have to wait that long to receive your order. If you have the time, then I do think this cafe is worth trying! The smoothies and food are good, it's just service that is seriously lacking.

I normally enjoy my experience and food but today was not good. Overall customer service was 7/10 but food 3/10. I was made the wrong smoothie that contained an ingredient that I have a sensitivity too and made me throw up and the wrap I ordered was made very sloppy:( very sad at my experience here today.

First and foremost I wasn't even greeted when I walked in the door. The two girls behind the counter just starred at me like I was crazy. Then I asked for no bacon on my flatbread, and we'll as you can see by the pic that didn't happen. It was an online order so it was spelt out clear as day. Now I'm wondering if they removed the white chocolate from my smoothie like I asked. Please do better!
