Really liked their chips and salsa bar, and you get a good amount of food. Got the burrito and half a chicken. Everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely would come again.“

“Honestly it's a sad looking Mi Cocina when you walk in but the food and service is fantastic. I love this Tex-Mex chain and this one is in Watters Creek Village by the Allen Convention Center. The Rico Salad is nostalgic for me - I get it with salsa dresssing on the side. The chips are crispy and not salty. The queso con chile is liquid-y and gooey. There's a gorgeous patio for outdoor seating and the inside is large. Separate bar area. You know you're in Texas when the waitress asks if you want a Diet Coke to go. The service is truly spectacular. It was pretty quiet when I went on a Monday night and had to wait a second before a hostess came. Solid food - not the nicest Mi Cocina I've been to in terms of decor, but the food is the same quality as always!“

“Pulled up into a small parking lot to finally try this spot today after work. The inside of the restaurant was super clean and tidy. I ordered the loaded burrito and the carne asada fries to go. Holy F they were both loaded and heavy as crap! I wasn't expecting that but got my money's worth for sure. The loaded burrito I got with fajita meat and FYI it is spicyyy. On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being spicy as hell I wanna say it was likeeee a 4 lol and I love my spicy food but for folks who don't know just keep that in mind. Loaded with guacamole, grilled onions, stuffed with so much cheese, meat and I think beans too. Sooo good! The burrito exterior had some crunch it wasn't soggy at all from my 15 min drive home. I shared cus it felt like it was the size of my forearm. The carne asada fries was everything I've been searching for since leaving Cali and Arizona.. crispy fries topped with cheese (I got on the side) tomato, jalapeño, onion and beef. Deliciousss. They gave me a side of sour cream with their pre sealed sauce bags which tasted really good too, hopefully they sell them in bottles cus I'll buy some! Definitely coming back and trying more!“

“Delicious shrimp tacos. Much better than what you expect for Tex Mex in the burbs. They have a wonderful crispy flour tortilla and a good sauce on the shrimp.The crab empanadas were good too. But next time I'd just get shrimp tacos.It's a very suburban Texas Tex Mex place. The clientele isn't very hip. But the shrimp tacos are actually worth a try.“

“We eat Frankie's basically once a week. This is our favorite place in Wylie period. I've had literally everything on the menu. Their margaritas are the best in town and the bartenders and wait staff always treat us like family. The expansion they've done makes it much easier to get a table and we usually go early enough to not have to wait. It can get busy.“

“Work dinner. Nice place with good and classic dishes. The steak was well prepared. I had the steak Lupe. It was very enjoyable. All entrees came with rice and refried beans. Some had margaritas while others had sweet tea or sparkling water (Topo Chico). The chips and queso were a good appetizer. Clean with attentive and professional service. The only downside is that the floors were slightly slippery everywhere. Especially in the bathroom.“

“First time coming here. This place is fantastic. (Come hungry.) The salsa and picante sauce are served with warm chips. (Didn't totally reach the bottom before everything was refilled.) My husband had the regular nachos and I had the shrimp enchiladas, with refried beans and rice. (Plenty of food.) Huge drink cups. Great service, with plenty of servers. Next time, I will get dessert first. (Reasonable prices for the amount of food you get.) We will be back.“

“we have a group of about 8 who dine out together regularly. we used to go to another restaurant in Allen until we discovered Salsa! The place that used to be there was terrible, but Salsa is terrific. Our waiter, last time, was not good, but the food is consistently delicious. We go at least twice a month and have yet to have a bad meal. The chicken enchiladas and quesabirria tacos are winners! The warm black bean dip is the bomb.“

There were only two other tables so it was nice and quiet, we were seated instantly. Alberto was our waiter and the bartender. We didn't drink but he brought us waters. I wanted fajitas but not so many and he suggested Ala carte so I had the veggies plate and adddd the carne. It was perfect! So helpful instead of saying no nothing avail like that. We thought I came with beans so we asked for charro beans and they brought out two cups like soup appetizer.. they were good but they charged us for them our mistake. Asked for a bit spicier and if we could have some Jalapeno, it came chopped and again charged us for it. It was great but beware they nickel and dime in the things that you'd think should come with or on a plate. We will go back as food was delicious and serbice great.“
