Everything here is great! They have a great Blue Plate specials during the week. They have delicious breakfast options. Avalon Diner is definitely an old timey diner feel and taste.

Hello all! I’ve heard great things about about this diner. This week was my first time trying it. Today marks my third day this week. Today, I was disappointed by the lack of attentiveness, sense of urgency and professionalism I experienced.I walked into the front and waiting for the host to complete a transaction. The whole time she didn’t acknowledge me.I watched as she finished the transaction, stapled about 4 tickets(slowly). Immediately pulls the phone out, head down and walks away.The server in the front booths, saw this, looked at me, tended to his other tables etc.A woman came up to the stand to pay and he immediately hopped to the front, still didn’t acknowledge me and took her payment.Once that finished, he was about to close the flap he then looks as me and asks if anyone has assisted me.I replied, “Unfortunately not. I was also here before the woman you checked out.”He shrugged and yelled for the host.She was cold, distant, and to perception annoyed or irritated.

This restaurant serves breakfast ALL DAY! Thats awesome! I don't always wake up in time to eat breakfast but to have a place to go to that serves breakfast all day like Avalon does is great. So if you are like me and want to eat breakfast for dinner or lunch or whenever go to Avalon. Excellent service, great-tasting food, and good prices. They do serve lunch and dinner too.3/16/24I noticed that the menu has changed somewhat. Still, I enjoy having a meal here. Super nice staff and are very accommodating to their patrons.

Food was just okay. Service was friendly, but inadequate. By the time we got utensils, the food had cooled down. They brought me the wrong food or the don't understand the dishes that they are advertising. I don't intend on returning.

Food is adequate at best. Order was incorrect, or perhaps those writing the menu do not understand "smothered" versus "chicken fried." Had to fend for ourselves for utensils. Service was inadequate but friendly. Will likely not go back.

Everything is very expensive, but bad review is coming from the lack of service. We sat for 15 minutes with no attention. We would have paid the high prices and went on our way but Noone served
I felt like I was at home eating my Mother's "Big" breakfast. My husband had a hamburger and fries; they were AWESOME!
