I usually order Togo and food is usually a hit or miss. But this week, I think there's a new chef and food has been on point. The grill pork is not chewy. rice is new and not old or stale, and fried egg is not overcooked. Everything was perfectly cooked. Also the only real Vietnamese banh mi place in Sugar Land.

Don Cafe Stafford is an absolute MUST-AVOID! I made the mistake of ordering from them to go, and it was a disaster. The pho I received smelled horrendous, almost like something had gone bad in it. When I tried to eat it, the taste was even worse than the smell - definitely the worst pho I've ever had. To top it off, when I went back to request a refund, the customer service was shockingly poor; they refused without any empathy or understanding. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of Don Cafe Stafford at all costs!

The guys at the register are super rude. I saw how they treat people different due to how you look and their ethnicity. I'm hispanic and the guy was super rude to me and when I told him why he treated customers the way he did he ignored me.But as soon as a caucasian women came in, the guy at the counter even greeted her from far away. It's sad to see how they are also hispanic and treat people this way. I only come sometimes because the food is good. I spoke to the manager and he himself saw how the guy was acting. He said that's just how he is, of he likes you he does, of he doesn't then he is rude to you. Wow

Service, excellent! Ambiance very clean! Food, top notch! So why 4 stars?! Because they don't have Vietnamese beef stew on the menu! For me that's like a really good Mexican restaurant that doesn't have green sauce! Love, love, love the food and banh mi here!! Hidden gem behind Shipley's!

don't understand the low reviews at Don's - taste amazing, quick service, and cheap price! We got the grilled pork and grilled beef banh mi. I have been coming to Don's since I could remember but the bellaire location - this location is just like this bellaire location! We came on a saturday and found seats immediately. Server came and took our order and provided water. the Banh mi's were fresh and crisp and packed with meat and veggies! Truly a gem spot in sugarland/stafford. This is what a vietnamese Banh Mi should taste like. Hope Don's stays open forever!! They need to bring back the buy 5 get 1 free :( I remember a decade ago bellaire location used to do that!!

First of all, the food. I always get a bahn mi which is $5.50 and is totally filling and delicious. The bread is crunchy and buttery, the chicken is cooked perfectly, and the vegetables taste fresh and yummy. I've been coming to this location for a while and the servers are nice. The restaurant is also clean and isn't very busy.

Nice and clean - I ordered the grilled pork banh mi and the spring rolls. Both were delicious. Service was quick and attentive. I'm glad I don't have to drive into Chinatown for banh mis. I used my credit card and had no problems.
