Don Nico's is a fantastic authentic Mexican food restaurant. They have great service and amazing food. Their salsa is among the best and I have never had better beans and rice.

We had some time before our Campus Visit just down the street at Tarleton State University! The restaurant vibe is very colorful and energetic. Everyone was very attentive and polite. There is a lunch menu and a larger regular menu - something for everyone.We split a single order of chicken fajitas - they were really good, and we couldn't finish them. I'll mention that they have a lot of pieces (not quite shredded). My daughter doesn't even the veggies - picks the chicken - so it makes it hard to do that - but it's fine for an adult ;) We also had enchiladas, flan, and sopapilla. Loved the homemade chips!!We were SO full - we should have eaten here AFTER the campus tour ;)We would eat here again if we were in the area!!
