We bought 2 cakes from Baked by Beena. Both were delicious and moist. We selected the rose cake inside with butter cream frosting. They also have a pistacio cake that sounds great.The cakes were very fresh and really big.

One of our favorite bakeries in Houston is a Indian- inspired fusion bakery in Sugar Land which serves beautiful and delicious pistachio cakes, black forest cakes and classic fusion flavors such as mango macaron and rose macaron. She also does custom cakes, eggless cakes, cupcakes, letter cakes, wedding cakes, cookies and so much more. Beena is very talented and we really enjoyed talking to her about her passion for baking and her family-owned business. She also has baked puff pastries, paneer rolls and Indian Chaat items on her menu. Our favorite were the macarons - rose, coconut, pistachio, mango, blackforest- we indulged and enjoyed each and every one of them.

Very delish, only thing we arrived 20 min til closing and the employee kinda was being rushed didn't really help didn't give us any recommendations, told me the chocolate cakes where not available. I felt bad me and my husband love sweets and we wanted to try one of everything. Maybe next time because it was delish. I know i had my toddler too and that didn't help. :(

Very poory service. We paid $50 for a cake that was not even the flavor we ask for. Beena did not come outof her office once I told her she sent her employee to collect the rest of payment. The decoration of the cake was hopeless not the way I ask her when I show her the picture.

Be it sweet or savoury, this place knows how to do it right.Absolutely love their macarons, we tried Pistachio, Black Forest and coconut.The chaats have a great kick to them and have a very balanced flavor. Would be coming back for dahi puri and samosa chaat!!

They have limited menu items. Mostly chat, puff pastries and sandwiches. Samosa chat was good. Cakes, macaroons and pastries aren’t eggless or vegan.

The good thing about the mango and pistachio is that they did not have strong artificial flavor taste which was a good thing!Very friendly staff too

We ordered a cake for my daughter’s 16 birthday. My daughter shared a picture of an idea she had. Baked by Beena excelled and made a beautiful cake for my daughter. Exactly what she wanted. The taste was perfect, moist and yummy. I am glad we found this cake shop and we will definitely come here for out future baked needs. Congratulations Baked by Beena.
I frequented this place back when it was another food joint called Universal bakery. The new business has a somewhat similar food menu but the food is just OK. Nothing that I would go back for. The chaat was fine but the paneer wrap was just oily and unappetizing. The paneer was very chewy and the wrap was greasy. The macaroons were not very good. I’ve had better. All in all a C-. It’s such a disappointment that with the all the Indian food places in Sugar Land, no one has a decent chaat or Kati roll.

This bakery is such a cute little hidden gem! I love anything pistachio so I tried their Pistachio cake and macarons and they were so good! I also tried other flavors of their macarons and I thought they were really good. Some of the flavors were pretty sweet compared to other macarons I've had but overall I really liked them.

I stopped in for a quick dessert and got more than I asked for. I ended up leaving with 3 choice because decisions are hard to make! The macarons are flavorful and delicious. The coconut cake is definitely a winner but the chocolate cupcake was AMAZING!! I brought my desserts home to share with the family and set up a family coffee time moment. The store is in a great location. Parking is super easy and it's a lot of parking. The area of town is nice. The inside has cute decor and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my experience and my sweet treats. I recommend stoping by!

There was a bit of confusion on store hours, so the first time I drove out from Katy, I had to turn around and go back home because they opened two hours later than Yelp or Apple Maps said. However when I reached out to them about it, they were very nice and it looks like the issue got fixed. I tried the Black Forest and pistachio cakes. Both were light and airy but still flavorful. They present beautifully and I was happy to be able to support a small, woman-owned business.
