I found it to be a very nice place and the prices were really low, I was positively surprised because the food is delicious and cheap, it is close to a school that's why the prices are low, I will definitely return to try more things on the menu

Very Nice. They truly care for the satisfaction of their customers. Everything on the menu is freshly cooked on request. Very responsible price to make you feel that you are getting one of the best deals in town in reference to good Cajun food. I recommend all who haven't tried Kraken Wing & Seafood, should most definitely have this place as a top option to go to for lunch.

Today was my first day trying kraken I'm new working in the area . My coworker had this for lunch the day before i told her how good it smelled and she mentioned kraken to me. I had the daily special 8.95 I chose the catfish nuggets and rice with a can of coke. Very good . Flavorful. Smells good. I will be back here again, even told my mom I'd take her when I'm not working I brought some of my plate home . ? I took a menu home as well I plan on trying wings or gumbo next time .

I've been going here sporadically, and their food quality and service are always impeccable. I've tried the red snapper, shrimp, cod, and now the catfish nuggs pictured here. All are cooked to perfection using a cornmeal coat (flour for the cod). The house gumbo here is top notch too, love that dark roux - i just come here when i want my gumbo fix.

I've never been to a place that gives you soy sauce with gumbo. Red flag number one. It was some weird water taste. I ordered two clusters of snow crab to be even more disappointed after my gumbo. The snow crab was under cooked and no flavor, but it was very spicy (which we did ask for so that was good). The people are super sweet, 100% love the hospitality, I also got the boudin balls which were good! My boyfriend said the shrimp pasta was good which I'm seeing is a fan favorite, I got the chicken fried rice and it also had no flavor, it's like they just cooked it. Everyone has different taste buds so don't let my comment stop you from trying for yourself, I just wouldn't eat here again.

The food is pretty good. I got the 8 shirmp and 6 wings. The shrimp are huge, the fried rice was on point and the lemon pepper wings were great too. I don't have any complaints and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

My husband and I were looking for a new restaurant to try while we are here from Indiana and this place did not disappoint! We had the Cajun shrimp pasta, wings n shrimp, fried rice and hushpuppies. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly.
