Disappointing!! First… prices for lunch special were not special. Whole point of a Chinese lunch special is to give a discount - they had it priced the same as dinner plate. Ordered chilli chicken and jalapeño beef. While eating, I told my wife that I think I’m sick because I can’t taste anything. She said no pagal the food has no taste in it. I was hoping this was going to be a good restaurant. If I magically go again, I’ll be sure to try something else

Not bad. We tried multiple items from the menu. I would recommend crispy chicken wings sauce on the side and shrimp fried rice. The other items we tried were ok.

I go for lunch or dinner weekly with a group of friends. In addition to the really good food, I must say that our waiter today was so kind and patient, as the group tried to decide what they wanted and were talking non-stop. My husband and I love dinner there as well specially the house special fried rice. We are so fortunate to have this outstanding restaurant in our town of Sugar Land. It’s a gem.

Just had my dinner at China king it was amazing experience . I went with my family and ambience the food the staff everything was impeccable . Very prompt service and precised taste of food . I will definately go again and again . Thank you china king lovedd ittt..!!!

Not common to leave bad reviews but this cannot go unaddressed. A customer for 15 years and we are done. Despite a second new owner in less than 2 years this was inexcusable.Dinner on Eid night with the family drove an hour. The biggest holiday of the year for Muslims and you have zero waiters, 2 people doing everything with TERRIBLE communication.Get there 850. Told table is being cleaned. 905 still nothing as many empty tables. By 910 go sit at a dirty table, they finally start cleaning. 920 had to go up and ask for our own menus. 930 flagging the guy at the front to come please take our order. 950 second time asking for water they finally bring it.1025 after multiple follow ups, told our food along with another table they need 10 more minutes. At that point 2 tables who came 15 to 20 minutes after us are already getting their food in full.Paid for our terrible hot and sour soup and left. The image this place developed under the original owners has been completely ruined with people who don't know jack about owning a successful restaurant. Food quality significantly has gone away since new owners took over.

This place has vastly improved over the past 6 years. Service is much better and more accommodating. Current lineup of staff are the best so far.Kid-friendliness: Not so fancy-schmancy that your kids can’t be kids. They have high chairs and booster seats.

Went in after 3pm to have dinner with my brother. No one welcomed us through the door or seated us down. We seated ourselves down. 10-15 minutes in, no one even bothered to come to us and give us the menu. We had to walk to them ourselves and get the menu. Took about another 10-15 minutes to get our food. They didn’t give us any plates of utensils, so when asked, that took another 5 minutes. The food was not hot at all, just a bit warm and even that got cold with all the waiting. Only two workers out front, one only standing by the reception and the other only taking offers of bigger parties, even though we were there first. The food wasn’t bad, best wish they had better services and were able to provide with hotter food.

Most delicious halal Chinese food in Houston area so far, hats off to chefs and servers they take 22 people group at 9:30pm and serve us that late at night , without compromising their quality and taste, we have ordered plenty of dishes from the menu and enjoyed every single one. Definitely recommended to all halal Chinese food
