I had my birthday dinner with family and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly and professional. The mariachi band comes to sing happy birthday, the photographer takes pictures, and you get a group shot free. The employees come to sing happy birthday and give you free sopapillas. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the prices were reasonable.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcomed and valued. Our server, Rubi, was an absolute delight. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great time. Her warm demeanor added to the overall positive vibe of the place. As a Margarita enthusiast, I couldn't resist trying their smoky Mezcal Rita, and it did not disappoint! It was a high-quality Margarita with a unique twist that I thoroughly enjoyed. For appetizers, we opted for the mixed empanadas, and they were fantastic. The flavors were rich and delicious, making it an easy recommendation for anyone visiting. Also the salsa for the chips was great as well.We also tried the pulpo a la parrilla, and it was a showstopper! The octopus was perfectly grilled, packed with flavor, and paired wonderfully with the delicious vegetables and sides. The black beans were a pleasant surprise, offering a delightful burst of flavor. The manager, I believe his name was Erubiel, was incredibly passionate about his job and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. His dedication to excellence was evident throughout our visit.Being in the service industry ourselves, my boyfriend and I can attest to the exceptional service provided by this restaurant. It was evident that the entire staff takes pride in what they do.In addition to the outstanding service and food, the restaurant was impeccably clean and organized, further enhancing our dining experience. The live music added to the vibrant atmosphere, creating a lively and enjoyable ambiance. Even with a packed house, the staff managed to keep everything running smoothly.Overall, this restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. We can't wait to return and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family. It's the perfect spot for any occasion, including catching a box fight while enjoying great food and drinks!

Terrible service (I give it one star because it is not allowed to give zero). My family and I were doubly discriminated against:1) For going to the restaurant with a child under 3 years old.2) For not wearing a suit, tie and long dress. When we arrived we asked for a table to enjoy the "Happy hour" and they told us that they would not give it to us because the already mentioned happy hour only applied in the bar and the minor could not be in that area (This makes sense to me) with a terrible attitude; assuming he didn't have money to pay. They told me: well, I can give you a table in the restaurant or on the patio if you like, but I don't think you want to, right?Obviously we went and thanks to this we discovered an excellent meat restaurant very close to there called CHURRASCOS

"We have visited this restaurant twice (Lago Mariscos, Sugarland, Texas) and have always enjoyed the quick service. However, on our last visit, we were unable to get a highchair for our two-year-old grandson making it very uncomfortable to enjoy our meal with a two-year-old on our lap. Since the restaurant is large and family-friendly, we were surprised that they ran out of highchairs. If they had a waiting list for highchairs or a way to let us know when one would be available, it would have been much easier. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at this restaurant, but it would be even better if they had a better system for handling highchair requests."My husband particularly fond of the "Pulpo a la Parrilla," and who has quite the discerning palate after years in the culinary industry, decided to order it again. However, this time, the texture of the octopus was a bit tougher than usual, indicating that it might have been overcooked. We kindly brought this to the attention of our waitress, who promptly took it back to the kitchen.Unfortunately, when the dish returned, it seemed to be the same one, just reheated, and it still retained its tough texture. While we understand that inconsistencies can occur in any kitchen, my husband's background allowed him to notice when a dish has been redone.Despite this minor hiccups, we appreciated the prompt and courteous service provided by your staff throughout our meal. We hope that this feedback can be used constructively to maintain the high standards of your establishment. Thank you for your attention to our concerns.

Looking for a tasty and spacious Mexican restaurant with delicious food? Look no further than Lago Mariscos, where there's a welcoming atmosphere with tasty food and ample parking. The interior is quite large and a comfortable space. We were seated quickly and enjoyed the lively music from the mariachi band that was playing that day. It added a festive touch to the entire dining experience. The menu boasts a wide range of Mexican favorites, and everything we tried was bursting with flavor. We started with their guacamole, a must-have! The perfectly ripe avocados were mashed into a creamy and chunky concoction. It was a delightful way to kick off our meal. For our main course, we opted for a variety of dishes, which was more than enough to share. The charred octopus was the star of the show – it was incredibly tender with a hint of smokiness and tasty marinade sauce that added a depth of flavor. Every bite was fresh and delicious! To wash it all down, I couldn't resist their margaritas, which were a tasty sour and not too sweet balance to my meal.
